Building Bright Futures
2025-2028 Growth Plan

Our Clear Mission
Phoenix Christian Preparatory School exists to educate the minds, form the hearts, and equip the hands of students in a Christ-centered atmosphere.
Our Steadfast Commitment
Our missional commitment welcomes students of all backgrounds and abilities to study in a Christ-centered atmosphere. Phoenix Christian is deeply committed to giving each student the opportunity to encounter Christ at every turn. The living curriculum of our faculty and staff open a visible expression of God’ s Kingdom to our students and families.
Through days and years of amazing Bible stories, engaging chapels, prayers, classes focused on spiritual formation, Old and New Testament, and academic rigor coupled with substantial support systems, our students are thriving and impacted for eternity. A Biblical worldview permeates each class and in every discipline. After-school sports and activities provide further influence in the lives of our students as each coach and leader infuses practices with solid teachings of character, truth, responsibility, spiritual development, and love.

Our Pillars
In 1949, God ordained the establishment of our current facilities in the heart of Phoenix. To this day, everything we do at Phoenix Christian rests on a foundation of four enduring pillars—truths that shape our identity, guide our mission, and point us to Christ.

Lamp Set Upon the Word of God
2 Timothy 2:15, Psalm 119:11
All knowledge, truth, and wisdom flow from the Scriptures. The lamp represents the Spirit, sent to us by God the Father, alive and active today.
Evangelism at Home and Abroad

Romans 10:15
It is a sacred responsibility to share and spread the gospel message worldwide.
Cross and Crown Intertwined Matthew 16:24

By the cross of Christ we receive the righteousness of God.
Love for Our Neighbors
John 15:13
Grace, kindness, and consideration are due for everyone. We are to love our neighbors sacrificially.

Dear Phoenix Christian Family:
God has blessed and continues to bless this community in powerful ways. We are grateful for our rich history, inspired by the work we ’ re doing today, and filled with enthusiastic hope and eager expectation for our future. Thank you for joining us on this exciting journey!
The world around us is ever changing, and we are committed to a never-ending pursuit of excellence to the glory of God. Listening and adapting through a data-driven approach that is bathed in prayer enables us to include the voices of faculty, students, parents, board members, and community families. Your valuable insight and wisdom, through our schoolwide survey and focus groups, has given us a strong foundation on which we built our mission-centered plan with clarity and purpose.
We are building on our deep heritage with long-term priorities, short-term tactical initiatives, disciplined-thinking, and purposeful actions. Thank you to all who shared your time, wisdom and talents to assist us in this important task. It is a privilege to walk out our mission with you.
With prayer, gratitude, and anticipation,

Jeff Blake, MaEd, MaSFL Superintendent

SCHOOL HISTORY
College and Beyond
Students take rigorous college preparatory classes, preparing them for college. Some choose to take dual enrollment courses that grant college credit. Each class can garner between three to six college credits. We partner with Arizona Christian University, Grand Canyon University, and Colorado Christian University. Phoenix Christian students have the opportunity to graduate with over 40 college credits! Each year, PC students earn over 360 college credits at an average of 15 credits per student.
College matriculation is a huge priority for Phoenix Christian. We know that many of our future first generation college students need significant support in the college planning process. We have two dedicated school counselors who focus much of their time guiding students as they seek and receive significant tuition scholarships. Our school counselors also help students apply for additional scholarships and financial aid. The last several graduating classes have earned an average of three million dollars in scholarships.

Our Path Forward Is Bright
Our Growth. Their Success.

Our Bright Future Guided By A Clear Vision
Phoenix Christian is growing! The elementary and middle school population has more than doubled in the last nine years. We have at least two classes in each grade level in the elementary and middle school which is maximizing all classrooms.
Strategic growth is a huge priority for Phoenix Christian as more students need the opportunity to receive a rigorous, Christcentered education in the heart of Phoenix. We plan to grow an average of 6% for the next two years to achieve the current facility capacity. To continue growing, we need space. We own the adjacent property on the southwest corner of 16th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Our Strategic Planning Committee is reviewing plans to recommend the next steps for future development to expand the reach of Phoenix Christian. In addition to facility expansion, many of our historic buildings are already undergoing refurbishment that gives our students an oasis to grow and thrive.

We Believe that Lasting Growth Starts with a Clear Vision
Our clear vision has guided Phoenix Christian for over 75 years: to know, value, and guide each student in a Christcentered environment where academic excellence meets spiritual formation. In this next season we will follow a steadfast vision to guide our strategic priorities toward growth and flourishing.
