n January 2025, the Fraternity hosted its annual Strategic Planning Meeting. This meeting included the current Executive Committee, the housing corporation, and many other alumni. This year, we had over thirty members attend the meeting, both in person and over Zoom. We meet annually to discuss the past year’s accomplishments and outline goals for the chapter for the upcoming year. The housing corporation briefed everyone on the future kitchen renovations, including changes to the serving line, new equipment, and a significant overhaul. They also laid out plans for more minor updates to the house, including the new LED sign and letters illuminated at the back and front of the house, respectively. David Taylor 2631 updated us on recruitment, estimating that we can expect the largest class in Phi Delta Theta’s history this upcoming fall. Finally, the Executive Committee outlined a strategy for winning this year’s Oxford Trophy, Phi Delta Theta’s most prestigious trophy for large school chapters. The Strategic Planning Meeting serves as a great way to bring in the new executive committee and ensure we have a solid foundation to build off of throughout the year. We look forward to next year’s meeting, as our goals and accomplishments will only get larger! Yours in the Bond, Kase McElwee 2552 Chapter Vice President

Michael Hawkins 2505 won the Tonsmiere Award. Michael was our vice president and has been a leader since the day he stepped on campus. Blake and Michael worked well together and ran a smooth operation. Both are graduating in the spring, but they always help when asked. Alabama Beta and I will miss Blake and Michael. The chapter is in excellent condition. We are excelling in academics, extracurricular activities, brotherhood, and social. The chapter is financially stable. We plan on having over 150 members in the fall. Several brothers Continued on page 4
