Warren Stevie Reece

Warren Stevie Reece (age 72) entered into rest on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Bellingham, WA, surrounded by his family. Warren was born on October 13, 1953, in Denver, CO, to Charles Wesley and Helen (Herring) Burrell Reece. He attended Garfield High School in Seattle, WA, graduating in 1972. Furthering his education, Warren attended Western Washington University in Bellingham and later graduated from Bates Technical College in Tacoma, WA. During his working career, Warren worked in the paper milling industry. He retired after 27 years of dedicated work in 2001. During his life, Warren enjoyed many hobbies and interests. Most notable was his enjoyment of Volkswagen automobiles, CB radios, and science fiction movies. His greatest interests and most enjoyable times were spent with family and friends.
Warren will be remembered for a multitude of attributes. Most notable was his strong Christian faith. Because he was a man of faith, he was naturally outgoing and social, and a steward of goodwill toward others in need. Warren will be remembered most for having a jovial sense of humor and being the most caring father, grandfather, “Pop-Pop”, godfather, and most compassionate neighbor.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jazzmin Reece (Tyler) of Portland, OR, and Porsha Reece of Seattle, WA; his brothers, Chauncy Reece of Seattle, WA, Louis Burrell, and Kent Burrell, both of Bellingham, WA; and two grandchildren, Tyson and Michael. Warren is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Herring Burrell (2025); father, Charles Wesley Reece (1991); and Louis Burrell Sr. (2004); son, Steven Reece (2008); sister, Pamela Reece; and brother, Russell Reece (2025)
A celebration of Warren’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, May 17, at the Squalicum Boathouse, located in Zuanich Point Park, 2600 N Harbor Loop Dr, Bellingham, WA 98225. All are welcome. Warren’s family would like to thank the Peace Health care team and Whatcom Hospice for their compassionate care, professionalism, and clear and present comfort and support.
