Blaine School District Budget On July 10th, the Blaine School District will have completed its preliminary budget for the 2018-19 school year. A budget summary will be on file at the district administrative office at 765 H Street, and a copy will be furnished to any person requesting one. The summary will include a projected total of expenses and revenues for the 2018-19 school year. A public hearing on the budget will take place during the regularly scheduled Board meeting, August 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the district administrative office. Anyone in attendance will have the opportunity to speak for or against any part of the budget, the four year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240. Notice is hereby given that, unless Point Roberts Marina receives full payment for the overdue balance by 3 pm on July 14th, 2018, Point Roberts Marina will sell by public auction a 32 foot, 1974 Rawson Sailboat, BC registered-434328. The sale will also include all personal property on board unless removed by the owner prior to sale. The sale will be conducted at 3:00PM on July 14th, 2018, by Point Roberts Marina located at 713 Simundson Drive Point Roberts, WA 98281. The last known owner of the vessel is Rod Hogan of Vancouver, BC. The purpose of the sale is to recover moorage, power use, water fees, late fees, impound fees and other fees in the amount of $2320.55 U.S. Funds, subject to adjustment, plus any additional fees and costs of recovery.
