Despite the global financial turmoil sparked by the U.S. president’s aggressive trade war moves, Prince George should be optimistic about its financial future. That’s part of the message brought to the city by the Business Development Bank of Canada’s chief economist, Pierre Cléroux, who visited on Thursday, May 15 to meet with local business owners and entrepreneurs. He also stopped by the Prince George Chamber of Commerce and the Northern Regional Construction Association, where he presented his economic outlook for the region and answered questions.
