Fabric Pattern Collections by Marie Dautel - At the age of 2 as I held my first crayon, I was instantly falling in love with the wonderful world of art. I began to draw and from there my style evolved. Today I am known for my whimsical, playful animal fabric designs. They will bring boundless joy to playrooms, kids apparel and décor, but are also for the Young at Heart.
Want to know more about my process? Beginning with a blank sheet of paper, I first sketch my motifs, allowing my ideas to flow freely. I then move to the digital realm, using Procreate to refine my motifs, adding color afterwards. Last but not least I redraw my motifs in Adobe Illustrator, creating the final pattern.
