Poppy Appeal – Thank you for money raised
Thank you all so much for your incredible support of the Poppy Appeal and for donating so generously in buying poppies this year.
As you are aware we added QR codes to our tins, boxes and posters making it harder to know where the funds came from, however in the tins that I have received back already, Kshs 28,922.00 was generously raised. The QR codes have enabled an increase of takings overall which is fantastic.
As with each year, the monies raised will go towards supporting the 400 Kenyan veterans who mainly served in the King’s African Rifles. The fund continues to assist with their welfare needs, emergency support, and helps to ensure that these men and their families are not forgotten after a lifetime of service.
I hope all your plans for the end of term and festive period go well and that you all enjoy a Happy Christmas and lots of good times in the New Year.
