Ballet with Lauren (Minimum 8 children Year 1-2)

Enjoy expressing yourself artistically and developing your creative skills. You’ll learn different crafting and up cycling techniques, use science to make art and explore product design in these fun classes. We love suggestions from our students so tell us what you want to make and we’ll make it happen!

A ballet-based creative movement program with a greater focus of full body dance and coordination. Teaching basic ballet etiquette, barre technique and encouraging fun exploration of the dancing art we offer an inclusive ballet class with emphasis on strength building, posture and building body positivity. With incorporation of syllabus work from the Royal Academy of Dance, Cicchetti and British Ballet Organisation, we have a wonderful combination of learning ballet technique while learning to love the art form. Teacher Lauren is a trained ballet teacher in association with BBO and performed for Cape Town Center of Dance Company before moving to Kenya. As a trained dancer I always dreamed of teaching ballet where regardless of your turn-out ability you could share the love of dance.

Will empower your young chefs with the skills to cook up a storm. They will learn how to prepare, cook, and bake fun, delicious appetizers, main courses, and desserts from a wide variety of cuisines. Included in the terms fee: cooking skills and technique training, lesson prep time before and during the class, carefully sourced ingredients to cater to all dietary needs and restrictions and takehome samples of goodies prepared...unless they have already eaten them at school.

In our art sessions, Year 1 to Year 3 students are introduced to the styles and techniques of famous artists such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Pablo Picasso. Each session focuses on a different artist and technique—ranging from bold brushstrokes and layering to collage, and colour mixing. Children explore these methods through creative, hands-on projects that encourage selfexpression and build confidence. These sessions also help deepen their understanding of visual art and inspire a lifelong appreciation for creativity and art history.

Rohini is a talented artist best known for putting together with Frances Hog the quilt project for Wanjira Mathai. She brings a wealth of experience, having guided year groups in cutting patterns, stitching, and assembling hummingbirds and leaves using reused off-cut fabric. In these engaging sessions, children will: 1. Learn the basics of hand sewing and embroidery, including essential stitches and techniques. 2. Discover the joy of transforming fabric into art by creating their own unique pieces — from simple patterns to more advanced designs.

The sessions will focus on still life drawing lessons and masterclasses, supporting students in developing their artistic skills and strengthening their portfolios. Drishti will build strong foundational skills in drawing, painting, colour theory, and creative problemsolving. Every session will include structured demonstrations, guided practice, and individual feedback, allowing each pupil to progress at their own pace.

Look no further...come join the splash-tastic fun of water polo! Water polo is an exhilarating team sport played in the water, combining swimming skills with strategy and teamwork. During the sessions, children will learn the basics of water polo in a safe supportive environment.

Join our Spanish club, Majo will take you on a journey around our vibrant Hispanic culture through games, history, food, and crafts. Your children will get to practice their conversational language skills in a real, micro immersion setting. ¡Aprende y diviértete en español!

Learn from the best! Play tennis with East Africa’s no. 1 Player Ismael Changawa, a Level II ITF certified coach and Kenya Davis Cup team player. Ismael, who will be offering individual and group lessons at Peponi House, has a proven record of helping players improve their technique and passion for the game.

From ball handling, passing and shooting to learning how to tread water effectively. There is something for every child to enjoy and develop a skill. Just bring your swimsuit, towel, drinking water and a positive attitude. Join and discover the thrill of water polo while listening to some great tunes.

Minimum 5 children per session if there are less children the rate will change. The confirmed rate will be communicated before the start of activities based on the number of sign ups for each session.

Calling all Young Engineers! Get your children a ticket to explore the innovative world of ROBOTICS to stimulate their creative thinking, develop their team building skills and develop their ability to analyse engineering concepts. They will learn in fun ways how to build lego based complex models, advancing their skills to be able to learn how to code robots to execute various tasks. The program advances to a different level after completion of the previous program each year.

Ceramic classes involve learning and practicing wheel throwing techniques and the 3 classic making techniques; coiling, slab and pinch pot.

These techniques are development based, improving your child’s problem solving abilities, motor skills and tactile memory. The course will introduce glaze decoration and touch on cera firing methods. The children will create hand thrown table ware and hand-built vessels, figurines and 3D models of still life. All their work will be bisque fired.

Join the club and have Riz Charania a Golf Professional teach you the proper way to play golf and get the right technique from the start. In this club you will develop good Swing Habits and understand the key fundamentals of the game while having fun learning through the U.S. Kids easy to use pathway that has 10 levels. Within each level there are 5 checkpoints in which achievement rewards may be earned. Golf start time for: Year 3-8 is 4:30 to 5:30pm on Mondays.
