Strategic Objectives for Whole School Development at Peponi House and Kabete Kindergarten 2026-27
Create an inclusive and collaborative school culture where pupils, staff and families feel connected, valued and inspired to succeed.
Promote curiosity and deeper learning including through thematic and Forest School experiences. Embed a coaching approach that encourages reflective practice, a growth mindset and continuous professional development for all staff. Establish a professional development framework that is evidence informed, collaborative and aligned with both school priorities and individual teacher needs. Promote unity and shared identity across KK, P1 and P2, building a cohesive school community.
Develop and sustain initiatives that support emotional wellbeing and resilience, with Forest School as a key element.
Implement targeted strategies to raise literacy outcomes across all year groups, ensuring every pupil achieves their potential. Security Measures and Safeguarding Obligations All cars that enter the site are required to have an in-date car sticker. Check your child’s bag. Cars coming onto site please lower the drivers window as we are unable to see who is in the car – especially at pick up. All adults who are on the site who are not accompanied are checked. Parents therefore must wear their parent lanyard Two are issued for use by parents/carers entering the site. Anyone without a parent lanyard will be required to sign in as a visitor and will be required to show ID.
The school has a safeguarding and data protection responsibility to ensure that photographs are not taken other than for school purposes by anyone who does not have explicit consent. The safeguarding policy is available on the school's website.

Managing the school calendar and supporting whole-school events.
Supporting the organisation of school trips, including the senior school residential visits. Day-to-day running of the school. Working closely with the PTA team.
Peponi Bumblebees Activities Fair taking place tomorrow (Thursday) in the Courtney Hall. For Year 1–2: starting 15:00 15:45

Peponi Bumblebees is our enrichment program offering a broad range of paid for activities that are designed to enhance and compliment the overall school provision. With activities before school, after school, and on the weekends, it gives children space to explore their interests, build skills, grow confidence and skill level.
If parents want to attend the fair to learn more about the activities on offer and to meet the activity providers, they should collect their children directly from the front of school so that they can join their parents.
The activities are advertised in advance, are expert-led and run for a term of 8-9 sessions. Parents sign up for these activities by clicking on the link or scanning the QR code on the front page of the PH Activities booklet. Providers are paid directly, all details are included on the form.
For children whose parents are not attending, the usual end-ofday procedure will apply. Children will be escorted to the car park for collection as normal.
Children can choose from a wide variety of options from - Gymnastics, Ballet, Robotics, Golf and Pottery to Karate, Dance Fusion, Cooking, Chess, Yoga, Water Polo and much more.
