RE: INVITATION TO THE GIRLS AIRSHOW AFRICA 2026 | SATURDAY, 10TH OCTOBER 2026 Dear Mr. Durston, On behalf of Girls in Aviation Africa Foundation (GIAA), we are pleased to extend this invitation to Peponi School for The Girls Airshow Africa 2026, an Aviation Conference and Flight Displays event scheduled for Saturday, 10th October 2026 at Northlands Aerodrome, Off Thika Road, Exit 11, from 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs. GIAA is a Kenyan registered foundation working to increase the number of African female aviators through career exposure, mentorship, and practical aviation experiences. Our programs serve girls and young women, from junior and senior school students exploring aviation careers to young aviation professionals. The event is hosted in collaboration with Women in Aviation Kenya Chapter. This year's theme, ¨She Grows¨, celebrates what happens after inspiration, the learning, the networking, the building of skills, and the finding of opportunities that turn a dream into a career. Conversations on the day will center on real pathways into aviation, what it looks like to build a career in a male dominated industry, and how young women across Africa are doing it right now. Participants will hear directly from female pilots, engineers, air force personnel, and aviation professionals from Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi. The day features flight displays, drone experiences, VR simulations, industry panels, career workshops, aviation exhibitions, and networking, all designed to give your students direct access to the aviation world through hands on learning, not just entertainment.
Ticket pricing and further event details are available in the attached poster. Student tickets are KES 2,000, while adult tickets are KES 3,000. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 years can purchase tickets at KES 1,000, and parents/guardians attending with their child(ren) will pay KES 2,000 instead of the standard adult rate.
