CELEBRATING CONNECTIONS, WELCOMING NEW BEGINNINGS

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT

Hello! My name is Ruthie Noel, and I’m grateful to serve as the new Vice President of Programs at Pensacola Habitat for Humanity

My passion for housing and community development is deeply personal. I was raised by a single mom who worked in the construction industry, and I saw firsthand how stable housing, hard work, and community support can change the trajectory of a family’s life. That experience is a big part of my “why” for ensuring our programs are valuable and empowering for you, our homeowners.

I bring experience leading and strengthening missiondriven programs through collaboration and community partnership, and I’m excited to continue building homes, communities, and hope across Northwest Florida. I believe God places us where we are meant to serve, and it is an honor to join this team and you on the journey of homeownership

BUILDING ON FAITH

FaithRelationsCoordinator

As we go into this New Year, let us remember, it is a journey of faith, strength, and perseverance. Every challenge you face is an opportunity to lean on God's promises and to remember that you are never alone.

The Bible encourages us with these words.

"May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed."

Psalm 20:4 NIV

Seek God as you make plans in the new year and look to Him as you craft any and all new beginnings. Jesus loves us and wants the best for us.

With love and support Monique Turner

MONEY MINDFULNESS

SPRING INTO FINANCIAL GOALS

This quarter, practice mindful spending by using the 24-Hour Pause Rule Before making any non-essential purchase, wait at least one day to decide if it is truly needed. This simple habit helps reduce impulse spending, encourages thoughtful decision-making, and allows you to prioritize long-term financial goals such as emergency savings, home maintenance, and debt reduction.

Being mindful with money does not mean avoiding enjoyment it means making intentional choices that support your household’s stability and future. Consider asking yourself three quick questions before spending: Do I need this now, or can it wait? Will this purchase support my household goals? Is there a more affordable option available?

Small, mindful decisions over time can lead to stronger financial confidence and greater peace of mind. Remember, financial wellness is not about how much you earn it is about how intentionally you manage what you have Smart planning, seeking qualified assistance, good credit habits, and small savings, like clipping coupons, can keep your household steady through every season!
