Fellow Cattlemen, We are so excited to welcome you to our first live auction sale in 38 years. Our crop of bulls this year far surpasses all previous years and we are truly proud of the genetics we have to offer. With over 7 decades of experience in the Angus business we thought “Bred for Business” was only fitting. We believe in a sharp knife; just the top 29% of this year’s calf crop made it to the bull pen. We make sure to use herd bulls that give us a consistent calf crop, each as good as the next. This, along with 40 plus years of utilizing AI, has given us a unique opportunity to continually and consistently improve the quality of our cow herd. We work to improve weaning weights, while keeping birth weights in check both with no sacrifice to phenotype, soundness or foot quality. We strive to raise the type of well made, performance driven cattle that keep us and our customers in business. This year we were happy to help Talyre Sitz with her masters project by having her foot score all the bulls. We were grateful for her help and jumped on the chance to have a third party validate these foot scores. You will find the offering EPD’s have been genomically enhanced. Fertility testing and free delivery make these bulls ready to get to work for you. You have to appreciate this bull’s genetic growth combined with the fact that he’s a really good balanced, striking bull from the side that stops and gives a look of quality. He’s massive ribbed and big muscled being extra square out his hip and it’s worth noting his power from behind with how well he handles it on the move.
