ROUGH COUNTRYBRE E DERS Schedule

Dear Customers and Friends,

8:00am Bulls available for viewing at the Glasgow Stockyards 11:30am - Lunch provided by Doris Ozark 1:00pm - Sale

Welcome to the 9th annual Koss Angus Bull sale. We are blessed for all the support from our buyers, we could not make this possible without you. We believe here at Koss Angus that you shouldn’t be working for your cattle but that your cattle should be working for you. We consider it a privilege to raise seed stock that will be adding genetics to your cow herd. Here at the ranch we strive for cattle that can handle the unpredictable climate of Northeast Montana, whether it be the harsh brutal winters, or the hot and dry summers. We try to raise cattle that not only survive in these conditions, but will thrive. We have built our cow herd with genetics we feel will get the job done, cattle with low inputs, good maternal instincts, solid feet, good fertility, and all while maintaining good growth and performance. Thank you for the interest in our program. We believe you will be pleased with the bulls in this year’s sale. If you have any questions or just want to visit don’t hesitate to call. I would like to make a special thanks to my parents (Kevin and Brenda), my wife (Iris), and to all the surrounding neighbors. We wouldn’t be able to make this possible without you.

Sincerely, Kendall and Iris Koss

WELCOME, We truly appreciate your interest in our program. The bulls performed better than I anticipated, especially considering the drought we faced this past year. Because of that we have decided not to sell any heifers at this sale. However we will be offering commercial bred heifers this coming fall. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped throughout the year to get things done. I’m sure I may forget someone, so please accept my thanks in advance. A special thank you to Dylan and Jake Brown, these two showed up with maybe an hour or two notice to help me accomplish what I was needing to get done. Your support is awesome. Thanks Ali Jo Merritt with Superior Livestock for videoing the cattle for Martin Red Angus / Rising 4 Cattle. Of course, David, Micaela, Nova and Aspen. The girls are always ready to get the cows in and ride the four wheelers. Kyle Kluck for his help setting the cows/heifers up for AI-ing, even if it was some weird hours. You are all appreciated. Thanks again to everyone who supports our program.

Sincerely, Heather Martin

Welcome to our Annual Production Bull Sale! We are truly grateful you’ve taken the time to be here and to show interest in our program.

For the past 12 years, we have been proud to raise and market quality seed stock, continually working to improve the genetics, performance, and consistency of our herd. Our goal has always been simple - to produce functional, reliable cattle that go out and work for commercial cattlemen while adding value to their operations.

This year’s offering of registered Black and Red Angus bulls represents years of careful selection, disciplined breeding decisions, and a commitment to structural soundness, maternal strength, growth, and longevity. These bulls are developed with longevity and real-world performance in mind. We stand behind them and are confident they will go to work and make a positive impact in your herd.

We believe in building relationships just as much as we believe in building good cattle. Whether you are a longtime customer or joining us for the first time, we appreciate your trust and your support of our program.

Please don’t hesitate to visit with us about the offering - we enjoy talking cattle and helping you find the right fit for your operation. Thank you again for being here and for supporting our program. We look forward to seeing you sale day!

Sincerely, Rising 4 Cattle - David, Micaela, Nova and Aspen Score

COMMERCIAL BULL 735

Leading off the 2026 Koss Sale is a stout smooth made Cortez son. He is a commercial bull as his dam is the only cow I could not clear the registration papers on. I purchased this group of cows from Jocko Valley Cattle in 2023 and they have fit in the herd very well and have produced some great heifer and bull calves. This is a bull with some great fleshing ability that will create some tremendous females that you'll want to keep in your cow herd. This bull was calved at 86 lb and weaned off the cow at 735 lb.

Recommend use only on Cows. Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 33

Lot 2 is another Cortez son that packs a little more frame then some of his siblings but has some good muscle and depth along with his slightly bigger frame. This is a bull that catches your eye in the pen of bulls he has excelled since birth as he is our biggest weaning bull coming off the cow at 740 lb. This bull will produce some big stout calves that will add pounds for you in the fall. Recommend use only on cows.

Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 38

Lot 3 another Cortez son that is very well put together he has tremendous depth and thickness along with good calving ease with a +10 CED and negative BW if you watch your heifers in the spring you shouldn’t have any issue using him on heifers. This is a calving ease bull that would go great with heifers or cows and has growth and performance behind him.

Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 36

KOSS CORTEZ 516

KOSS CORTEZ 509

l KOSS ANGUS l

Lot 4 is the first bull in the sale out of our Redland Foundation son purchased from Bryan Pike in the 2024 Milk River Angus sale. This bull is one of my favorite bulls in the pen he was one of the last calves born and calved out of one of the smallest and stoutest cows on the ranch and being one of the last calves he has excelled through the summer as he weaned off the cow at 635 lb. This is a stout bull that stands very correctly and catches your attention immediately. I expect to see great things from this bull and your definitely going to want to keep his heifers as replacements. I would recommend him be used on cows. Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 35

Lot 5 is another Cortez son that is a top pick cow bull in this year’s sale, a very eye appealing bull that carries tremendous thickness and length along with a table top flat top line. This bull is going to sire some calves with some power and performance behind them.

Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 36

KOSS JUSTIfIEd 522

Calved 03/12/25 Reg AAA 21465281

Lot 6 is a son out of Sinclair Justified L510 that we purchased in the 2024 Sinclair Cattle Company production sale. The dam of this bull is a Redland Ranger granddaughter and is a picture perfect momma cow. This is a bull I would use on Heifers he isn't super high on CED but shouldn't have any problems he was born at 72lb but weaned off his young mom at 635lb. Who says you can't have performance with calving ease?

Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 35

KOSS CORTEZ 521

Calved 03/05/25 Reg AAA

Lot 8 is another Cortez son with a stacked pedigree in my opinion tracing back to N Bar EXT and N Bar Shadow on the dam side and tracing back to OCC Rear End and OCC Paxton through Cortez this is a bull that has generations of great cattle behind him. He is a smooth bull with lots of length a great topline and stands very correctly. This is a bull that’s going to have good travel and be able to cover the big rugged pastures. This is a bull I think could be a great herd bull and would be a great addition to add to anyone’s cow herd. This bull weaned off at 695 lb. I would recommend this bull be used on cows.

Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 34.5

KOSS JUSTIfIEd 531

Calved 04/11/25 Reg AAA 21465276 9 9

Lot 9 is a cow bull out of Sinclair Justified and out of one of the oldest cows in the herd she is a cow that has withstood the drought and harsh environments that NE Montana has thrown at us in the past 5 years and continued to produce great calves through it. This bull was the last calf born but still weaned well with a WW of 630 lb.

KOSS CORTEZ 515

Calved 03/01/25 Reg AAA 21493459

Is a calving ease Cortez Son that I would recommend for heifers if you watch them. This bull is out of a coming 4 year old Redland Ranger granddaughter. This is a very well built bull that comes from and thick long stout cow. This bull was born at 80 lb and weaned off the cow at 620 lb. This is a bull that would give you good calving ease to use on Heifers but also packs some punch if you want to turn him out with the cows.

KOSS JUSTIfIEd 524

KOSS = JUSTIFIED = 524

Lot 11 is a Justified son that is a sleep all night heifer bull. This bull was raised on a first calf heifer that was bought from Hould Angus in the 2024 sale as a replacement heifer calf. This is a young cow that I really like the looks of in terms as size and shape I expect good things going forward with this cow and I expect good things from this bull as well. He is a very proportionate bull with a moderate frame and good depth and muscle. Being on a 2 year old heifer this bull was a little behind the other bulls in terms of weaning weight and development but this is going to be a bull that should excel going forward and would be a great heifer bull to add to your herd. Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 33.5

KOSS fOUndATIOn 526

KOSS = FOUNDATION = 526

Lot 12 the bull rounding out the Koss bulls is heifer bull that will give you a good night sleep come spring. He is a R44 Foundation son calved on 2 year old heifer like his sale partner Lot 11, this bull was a little behind in terms of development at weaning but has done well through the winter. And even though he’s a little smaller he is going to continue to grow and excel. Scrotal measurement as of 3/4/26 - 32

Sinclair Fortunate Son

Martin Red Angus / Rising 4 Cattle

Starting off this years sale are Supreme bulls. We have quite a few of them available. I am excited to finally see the breeding decisions and matings we have been putting together come full circle. This bulls maternal side goes to Red Bear out of the Duff program and she gets to carry the Martin name to add consistence and strength to the pedigree.

Scrotal measurement as of 2/26/26 - 38

Another Supreme is a half brother to Lot 18 and doubles down on the Martin Miss Senation influence also. Maternal power and reliability this program strives for. Scrotal measurement as of 2/26/26 - 34
