Celebrated on the second Sunday in May, Mother’s Day is an occasion to celebrate the existence of a figure that most of us share in all of our lives. Mothers. Perhaps the most significant and certainly the first woman in many of our lives.
Often the first to nurture and care for us as a child, the most accursedly protective, and the most loving, mothers have been a respected and even worshipped part of our world since the very birth of human life. While we might not always see eye-to-eye with them, they are always there, and remain eternally important in the lives of each and every one of us from birth til death.
While the day is not directly related to ancient celebrations of motherhood and maternal bonds, or gods of mothering and care in ancient cultures - at least in Western Culture - the day nonetheless embodies the spirit and meaning shared by all of these things for millennia. The modern Mother’’s Day saw it’s unspiration

Following this, the first Mother’s Day was celebrated on May 12, 1907 at the church Reeves Jarvis had frequented when she was alive. Thanks to the efforts of her daughter, the day was recognized by all American states in 1911 and given its modern date in 1914 by Woodrow Wilson. Mother’s Day continues to flourish today as

Peel Region - Although most homes for sale are resales, one out of four homebuyers purchases a new home. Which is better: existing or new? The right answer, of course, is up to you. Both resales and new homes offer advantages. Existing homes are less expensive on average, and are generally closer to, and enjoy the warmth and surroundings of, established neighborhoods, often with mature landscaping.
New homes, on the other hand, offer innovative use of space, greater energy efficiency and choices of options and upgrades. Everything is new and modern.
Most people consider both new and existing homes before they decide to purchase. A new, special insider report entitled “New Homes - 10 Tips to Save You Time and Money” has just been released which identifies 10 invaluable tips to save you time and money when purchasing a brand-new home.
