We here at PEEL NEWS MAGAZINE wish you and your family a very Happy New Year and much Success in 2022. What better time than the start of a New Year to launch our new monthly newspaper. At PEEL NEWS we take a more community centered approach covering local community news and events. Like every new year, 2022 presents us with a fresh start. What is different about this year, however, is just how eager all of us have been to put 2021 behind us. Regardless of your current situation, even if you are still struggling, it is important to celebrate an undeniable personal victory: you made it. Not only are you still here, but you are also stronger than ever before. 2021 presented unprecedented challenges, but you survived everything it threw at you. Life delivered an abundance of
lemons, and yet here you are, sipping on the lemonade that you made with all of them. We all have an opportunity to focus on our health, both physical and mental, as well as our happiness. There will always be things out of our control, but we decide how we deal with those things, and whether they hold us back. It is more important than ever to focus on the positive, and despite how it may feel at times, there’s positivity all around you. This is a time for reflection. Cherish your friends, family, health, employment, and anything else you think may go unappreciated at times. We all take things for granted. It is human nature. That just means that we always have the opportunity to sit back and reflect on everything that is going well in our lives.

A new year always brings opportunity for change, too. We all make resolutions. We stick to some; we fall behind on others. Do not be too hard on yourself. This is a year for getting back on track and rediscovering the things we love. And if you are trying to make improvements in your life, remember that success does not happen overnight. You have an entire year before it is time to make new resolutions, so pace yourself and celebrate the small victories along the way. 2021 is behind us, and while the challenges it brought may still be present in our lives, it is important to focus on the road ahead. We do not know what obstacles 2022 might throw in our path, but we know we will be ready for them, when and if they do come. Until then, we are going to make the best of everyday, treat ourselves and those around us with respect, and continue living healthy, happy lives.
