Prayer of Confession
O God, You surprise us on a daily basis, sometimes with the fulfillment of our dreams and sometimes with experiences that cause us to ponder Your ways. Forgive us for the ways we try to control You and limit what we think You can do. Redeem our tendencies to grow discouraged in circumstances. Teach us to cling to You and trust in Your goodness, whatever comes our way. Hear now our other sins that we confess in silence…
