“Uncompromised Excellence”
As we conclude the first quarter of 2026, I’m proud to share the progress our city has made across all departments.
Our efforts to connect with you have seen significant growth this quarter. Our e-newsletter "The Slice", reached 25,743 subscribers with the city website attracting 108,196 unique visitors. Additionally, the Peachtree City Library remains a cornerstone of our community, hosting 43,333 visitors and facilitating 80,549 circulations.
Our first responders continue to provide elite service. The FireRescue department responded to 1,338 incidents, including 946 medical calls, while maintaining our ISO Class 1 rating. Law enforcement officers maintained an average response time of 4 minutes and 37 seconds. Peachtree City remains just as dedicated to our workforce of 366 employees as they are to Peachtree City
by providing health and wellness programs such as our annual Employee Health Fair held in March. Maintaining our unique city infrastructure is a top priority. Key projects included refilling Lake Peachtree, ongoing City Hall renovations, and installing a new fiber optic backbone for our amphitheater "The Fred".
Our Public Works teams paved 1.79 miles of paths and filled 20 potholes. Our stormwater management team also completed 60 work orders, which included the replacement of 330 linear feet of pipe.
Peachtree City continues to be a fun-filled and energetic place to live and visit. This quarter, we welcomed 250 attendees to the annual FatherDaughter Dance and supported over 500 athletes during the Training Legends baseball tournament.
I want to thank our city staff for their tireless work and our residents for their continued participation in shaping the future of Peachtree City. Your community involvement and dedication to being informed citizens is what makes our community exceptional.
