GOLF CART & MOTORIZED CART REQUIREMENTS
Must be registered within 10 business days of purchase
Must display decals on BOTH front and rear
Decals must be visible at all times
Registration must remain current
OPERATION RULES
Must follow all traffic laws
Must use paths when available instead of parallel roads
May only operate at night if equipped with headlights and taillights
Must not operate recklessly or carelessly
WHO CAN DRIVE A CART
16+ years old: permitted to operate
15 years old: allowed with conditions (permit or supervision)
12–14 years old: must have parent/guardian in front seat
Under 12: not permitted to operate
PARENT RESPONSIBILITY
Adults may be held responsible for minors operating carts unsafely or unlawfully.
