Citizen Science Earth Day Spot-A-Thon (Ages 13+) Wednesday, April 22nd @ 11:00am-1:00pm
Celebrate Earth Day by helping scientists monitor wildlife! In this hands-on event, you’ll explore trail camera photos and help classify the animals you see. Your contributions support a NASA-supported research project that tracks changes in wildlife. This event is part of "Do NASA Science LIVE!", a series of events produced by SciStarter featuring NASA citizen science projects that need your help. During the events, we'll learn about a project, hear from a project scientist, and do the project together. Your questions will be answered in real-time, too! Learn more at SciStarter.org/NASA.

Georgia Cities Week Celebration: “Touch a Truck” @ Picnic Park (All Ages)

Celebrate Georgia Cities Week and Gear up for spring at the “Touch a Truck” event at Picnic Park. There will be visits from your favorite Peachtree City vehicles like a Fire Truck, Police Car, maybe a motorcycle, and more! The Bookmobile-for-a-Day golf cart will also be at the event. Come learn about all of our amazing library services, and browse a selection of books delivered to you by golf cart on our Bookmobile-for-a-Day! Drop-In Lego Day Program (Ages 5+)
Tuesday, April 24th @ 4:00pm
Join us at Peachtree City Library for an exciting hour of open LEGO building and fun. Children are invited to unleash their creativity as they construct imaginative creations using colorful LEGO bricks. This free event fosters teamwork and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment. For ages 5+, however parental supervision is required.

Celebrate spring with 2 free child tickets with a full priced parent or guardian adult ticket to Monster Jam. Come to the Children’s Desk (or print one from the link), to get a Monster Truck Reading Log, read 5 books, then present the log to the Children’s Librarian to receive your Free Ticket Voucher. Present the Voucher at the Echopark Speedway box office (formerly Atlanta Motor Speedway) for tickets to the Saturday, April 11th @ 5:00pm or Sunday, April 12th @ 3:00pm Monster Jam Show. Tickets must be redeemed at the Speedway starting April 6th.
