Witch, Please!

Magic, Music, and a Living Oracle for a Night of Queer Celebration and Community By Mikkel Hyldebrandt

Something wickedly fabulous is brewing at The Heretic Atlanta! On Saturday, October 24, nightlife production duo WOLFTONES is casting a spell over Atlanta’s queer nightlife with Witch, Please!, an immersive Halloween-season celebration where spellbinding fashion, pulsating dance beats, and a little collective magic come together for a much bigger purpose. But this isn’t just another costume party. At the heart of the evening is The Living Oracle Project, an ambitious creative initiative that will transform Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community into the Magical Beings of Atlanta, a custom oracle deck celebrating the city’s queer creativity, individuality, and collective spirit. Proceeds from future deck sales will support Lost-N-Found Youth and its work with LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness. Created by WOLFTONES’ Birthdae Presence and Popa Color, the project aims to capture the magic of Atlanta’s queer community in a permanent, physical form, turning one unforgettable night into something with a lasting impact. “The inspiration came from wanting to freeze our community’s raw, authentic power without standard archetypal boundaries,” explains Birthdae Presence. “We wanted to move past the traditional tarot lines and invite everyone to manifest the unique witch within themselves.” The Living Oracle: Manifest the Witch Within Forget your ordinary Halloween costume. For Witch, Please!, guests are encouraged to unleash their inner mystic and embrace their most imaginative, magical selves. There are no predetermined tarot characters to portray, no assigned archetypes, and certainly no limits to creative expression. The dress code says it all: Manifest the witch within. Dress to your highest, most devastatingly creative ritual coven realness and sorcery elegance.. Whether that means dark glamour, elegance celestial fantasy, supernatural seduction, or fullblown witchy extravagance, the invitation is to bring your own unique magic to the party.

The evening kicks off at 10 p.m. with a fabulous purple-carpet arrival experience, inviting guests to step into the spotlight and strike a pose for individual portraits before the night’s main magical ritual begins. At precisely 11:11 p.m., the experience shifts into its most magical phase as the Magical Beings of Atlanta oracle photoshoots get underway. Rather than following traditional tarot archetypes, the photography will embrace the spontaneous energy of the crowd. Guests can step in front of the camera as individual mystics, join forces with a partner for a powerful portrait, or gather their entire coven for dramatic group compositions. These images will provide the creative foundation for the custom oracle deck curated by WOLFTONES, celebrating the many personalities, relationships, and connections that make Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community so extraordinary. “Popa Color and I are capturing real-time coven magic—the individuals, the intimate pairs, and the massive coven groups that hold down our city’s spiritual landscape,” says Birthdae Presence. And while the creative possibilities are wide open, the schedule is anything but. “This isn’t just a standard club night where you can drift in at midnight—this is a sequential group ritual,” Birthdae Presence emphasizes. “The flow of the show is built entirely on momentum, and the collective energy depends heavily on everyone showing up on time.” The dedicated oracle photoshoots begin at 11:11 p.m. and conclude promptly at midnight, so anyone hoping to become part of the project should arrive early, dressed and ready to work their magic.

From Witchy Fantasy to the Dance Floor

A Little Magic That Gives Back

Of course, no proper queer ritual is complete without a killer soundtrack, and WOLFTONES has assembled a lineup designed to build the energy from the first arrivals to the night’s final musical spell.

Beyond the fashion, fantasy, and fabulousness, Witch, Please! carries a meaningful mission. The Magical Beings of Atlanta oracle deck is designed to become a tangible celebration of Atlanta’s LGBTQ+ community while generating support for Lost-N-Found Youth, the local nonprofit providing housing assistance, street outreach, and essential resources to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.

Tanner Castro and Howie B kick things off with a back-to-back set beginning at 10 p.m., creating a dark, hypnotic atmosphere as guests arrive, pose, and prepare for their supernatural transformations. At midnight, the cameras make way for the dance floor as Kyle House takes control of the decks, pushing the party into its next chapter. Then, at 1:30 a.m., WOLFTONES’ own Popa Color and Birthdae Presence take over with a back-to-back set promising deep, hard-hitting beats and what the duo describes as pure “witchy ritual eleganza.” The night’s grand finale adds another layer of theatrical magic as Birthdae Presence performs three original tracks live. The musical spell begins with the appropriately titled Witch Please, flows into Radiate Positivity, and closes with Amplify the Good Tonight—a deliberate progression from fierce dance-floor energy to a final celebration of positivity and collective connection. “The musical journey matches the visual transformation step for step,” says Birthdae Presence. “It creates this seamless, unbroken progression of energy.”

After basic production expenses are covered, the majority of proceeds from future sales of the custom deck will benefit the organization. “We are turning our collective self-expression into a divine engine for community survival,” says Birthdae Presence, highlighting the project’s commitment to supporting the critical work of Lost-N-Found Youth. As a symbolic welcome, every attendee will receive a specially designed, limited-edition Ace of Cups card created by Popa Color. Representing love, blessings, joy, intimacy, and emotional renewal, the card serves as both a keepsake and a reminder of the intentions behind the evening. Because sometimes the most powerful magic isn’t found in a crystal ball or a tarot reading. It’s found in a room full of queer people showing up for one another, looking absolutely incredible, and creating something that matters. And if that isn’t worth casting a spell over, witch, please!
