Please join us in welcoming Loran Zenonian as the new Executive Director of the Whatcom Hospice Foundation!
Loran brings a wealth of leadership, development and community experience to his new role, along with a deep passion for hospice care and philanthropy
A native of the Olympic Peninsula, Loran grew up in Neah Bay and Port Angeles, Washington. He earned his degree in History and Education from Western Washington University (Go Viks!) and went on to earn a master’s degree in Education from The City University.
Over the course of his career, Loran has taught and coached at Enumclaw High School and worked at Young Life for more than 16 years spanning Enumclaw, Ann Arbor (MI) and Bellingham
More recently, Loran worked in advancement and development at Western Washington University and the Lighthouse Mission
Loran was drawn to PeaceHealth and the Whatcom Hospice Foundation because of his strong connection to the mission of hospice, an organization that has deeply touched his family. He is excited to combine his love for Whatcom County with his commitment to philanthropy in support of compassionate, community-centered care
A few fun facts about Loran:
He and his wife, Staci, have three children Emma, 26; Joel, 23; and Meghann, 16 as well as a grandson, Axel, who is 1
He enjoys boating, coffee and dancing with Meghann during her Christmas and Spring shows He’s committed to always being the best version of himself.
