Bike store and notice boards We are pleased to share that the bike store area has been given the go ahead to be refurbished following the damage caused in an arson incident earlier this year. This follows on from the work earlier this year, which saw the bike shed having new metal enclosures installed. You might have also seen new fire-resistant notice boards being put up around the estate. These will be used to share useful information, such as details for your Neighbourhood Manager, Curtis Lesser, upcoming events and activities.

Introducing Awaab’s Law You may have heard about Awaab’s Law, a new law that aims to tackle the problem of damp and mould. The law has been introduced as a lasting legacy to two-year-old Awaab Ishak, who tragically died after being exposed to mould in his Rochdale home. We’re here to help if you’re experiencing damp and mould – but there are also simple things you can do to help prevent it. Open the windows slightly, even for 10 minutes a day, and make sure the vents are open and not blocked When you’re cooking, cover pots and pans, put your extractor fan on and open the window a little to reduce steam In the mornings, wipe your windows down, condensation often collects around the edges Leave a small gap between furniture and walls to let air flow. Avoid overfilling wardrobes and cupboards
