Communal doors

We know there have been ongoing issues at FIV with multiple communal doors.

Uncollected parcels Home deliveries are a way of life for many of us. If you’ve had a delivery made to the concierge, please ensure you come down to collect it as soon as you’re able to. The concierge is open Monday to Friday 6am to 11pm and 8am to 8pm on the weekends. Parcels, including dry-cleaning, will only be held at the concierge for 14 days. Please remember to bring a valid form of ID when you come to collect. Any items not collected after 14 days may be disposed of by the team due to limited storage space.

Reliable and secure door access remains a key priority for us at Fish Island Village. We are actively engaging with both Hill and the original door manufacturer. We are also continuing to work closely with Hill to identify and implement a long-term solution to the recurring door issues. In the meantime, we remain committed to addressing short-term concerns across the affected blocks to support a safer and more comfortable living environment for residents.

Gym access The doors to the gym will now open at 5.55am. This is following previous issues with the gym doors not opening on time. We’ve reported this issue to the system provider, but the exact cause of this is unclear. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and take further action if necessary.
