Your Neighbourhood Manager, Curtis, and the members of the Metropolitan Police Tottenham Central Safer Neighbourhoods team will be visiting your neighbourhood.
They’ll be knocking on doors to discuss local issues, talk about what support is available and the best ways to get in touch.
Updates from the Together We Can Fund
Over the past two years, Peabody has contributed to the Together We Can Fund, managed by Haringey Giving, to provide small grants for inspiring local projects that make a difference across Haringey.
One of last year's grant recipients, London DJ and MC Academy CIC, used funding to deliver 14 weeks of creative media sessions at Duke's Aldridge Academy and Haringey Sixth Form.
Students received hands-on experience in music production, performance, DJing and mixing, with access to professional studio equipment and specialist tuition.

Booking a bulky waste collection
Summer can be a great time to clear out unwanted items and create more space at home.
If you items can’t be placed inside the bin, please contact the Haringey Council Waste Team to arrange a bulky waste collection. The team can also help you if have electrical goods or garden waste to dispose of.

Improving bin store security
Residents have reached out to let us know that they’ve seen people congregating at the bin store at Fairweather and Elizabeth Clyde.
Thank you to everyone who has reported this to us. We’re currently looking into ways to make this area more secure and discourage people gathering in this space.
Reporting anti-social behaviour
We understand that some residents have concerns about crime, anti-social behaviour, and safety in your area.
Reporting incidents to the Metropolitan Police helps the police build a clearer picture of what’s happening locally. This helps to inform local policing decisions including where to allocate resources, such as patrols.
The Metropolitan Police have recently launched a new platform called METENGAGE, which allows residents to report issues directly to their local policing team
Through METENGAGE, you can report anything that feels unsafe or concerning, whether it’s a criminal matter or simply something that doesn’t feel right.

What is anti-social behaviour?
Anti-social behaviour covers many different types of activities including substance misuse, vandalism and fly tipping, as well as ongoing instances of intimidation, harassment and verbal abuse.
It’s also useful to know what ASB isn’t. Everyday living noises like footsteps or children playing, cooking noises or one off parties are not usually ASB.

How can Peabody help with anti-social behaviour?
Our Community Safety team can support residents with cases of ASB within their neighbourhood and community
In the North East team many of our specialists used to be Neighbourhood Managers, which means we have great insight and understanding into the areas and communities we work in.
The team victim centred approach, while also looking at if there are underlying reasons when it comes to the person causing the ASB They can help support all residents with their tenancy and to help them feel safe.
There are limits to what the team can do, and we always advise residents to report instances of ASB to their local police force.
