Welcome to our 11th Annual Bull Sale Once again the future looks bright for the Charcross calf sector. Sales this fall proved that tan and white calves were topping the markets. Simple when grain prices are high nothing feeds like Charolais. There has never been a better time to add top end genetics whether Red, Black or White. Top end calves still demand a premium. We at Diamond W are constantly trying to improve the quality and consistency of our seedstock. Our success depends on yours, so we will work hard to make sure you are satisfied. The lineup for the 2013 sale is chocked full of top end genetics and consistent bulls for type and style. There is a bull here for everyone; no matter the colour of your cowherd. These bulls are extremely sound, good tempered, full of meat and muscle and are bred to calve easily. In 2013 we will calve close to 220 cows, with no full time hired men. Meaning we have no time for problems or to blow smoke. Things simply have to work and be profitable. These bulls will walk, will work and will add dollars to your bottom line. They are fed a home made ration designed to grow and develop, not finish, so you know they will last as well. Can't make the sale? No problem. Give us at Diamond W or the sales staff a call and we will be happy to ensure that you get a quality bull that fits your needs. If at delivery you are not 100% satisfied, you don't own him. Simply no problem and we don't have time for games before, after, or during the sale. Finally, buy registered bulls no matter the colour or breed, it will pay dividends in the long run and can be valuable in marketing your calves. We look forward to having you view the bulls at the farm prior to the sale, online at www.charolaisbanner.com or at the sale barn. Any questions just call. Sincerely, The Walkers
This is the 11th year the Walkers have brought their bulls over to the Swan River valley to have a sale. The quality and consistency of the program has steadily increased and the many repeat customers tell us the bulls are working. The Walkers are quality people as well who will stand behind their cattle and make sure you get your cows bred. They always have a few good bulls at home for backup in case of problems in the breeding field. With the prospect that the cattle market will be on record pace for the next few years, you need to make sure you have the best bull power you can afford and to make sure your cows get bred. Don’t pull up short on the number of bulls you have to make sure you have a high conception rate. Open cows are good money, but don’t have the earning potential of the ones that are bred. Quality for dollars, this is one of the best sales to attend and get a good bull. Whether you need a bull to breed heifers, or want to add some Angus influence to the cowherd, or finish with a great terminal Charolais bull, there is something here for you. The Angus Charolais cross has and will continue to prove to be the industry standard down the road.

Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable immediately after the sale in Canadian funds. All settlements must be made with the sale clerks before cattle will be released. The right of property will not pass until final payment is made. Bidding: Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone their bids and instructions to the sale manager, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale.
Disputes: Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final.
Announcements: Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are cautioned to pay close attention to announcements. Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Animals will be cared for at the purchaser’s risk for a reasonable length of time. All animals left with the seller must be insured. Certificate of Registration: Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association or Canadian Angus Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer after payment has been made.
Delivery: Assistance will be given in making delivery after the sale. The purchaser agrees shipping arrangements will be at the convenience of the seller, but will be as soon as practical after the sale, at the buyer’s risk.
