I've always had a burning passion surging through my veins for creating pulchritudinous cadences of melodies Who'd listen didn't matter as long as I knew I was wallowing in the luxury of my artistic expression But now, it felt different Notes felt hollow and incomplete clamorous and turbulent, unlike before Will I ever achieve the sweet greatness I've oh-so-yearned for?
Being able to play is a different story from actually creating a legacy There's no roaring audience, no prestigious concert hall my name isn't and will never etch into the minds of millions My music will never be as inspiring as the works of world-renowned artists The weight of doubt sinks in, my chest is heaving, and the air in the room feels thick I've realized that I perhaps wasn't destined for this extravagant dream
I look back at the clock an hour has already passed The ticking metronome in front of me felt like a bomb about to explode at any given moment, slowly waiting for the right moment to detonate Time, that's what I needed, but the world won't stop revolving purely out of my desire to slow down its tempo Sighing, I hover my calloused fingers upon the glossy wooden instrument I should give this another shot Alright, here goes nothing
