DEAR FRIENDS & VALUED CUSTOMERS,

Joyeuse Saint-Valentin!

As February arrives, our hearts naturally turn toward l’amour. This month, I invite you to infuse your home with loving energy.

While we often look to celebrate others, remember to embrace the beautiful art of self-love. Whether it is a quiet moment of reflection or surrounding yourself with scents that spark joy, nurturing your own joie de vivre is the greatest gift. Your home should be a sanctuary where you feel most cherished.

On behalf of the Paysage Home family, I wish you a month of tenderness and inspiration.

Stop by and say bonjour…we’d love to help you find something special for your space.

P.S. Remember, love is not just for this month, love is every day.

TABLE FOR TWO L'ART DE VIVRE

CREATING A SOPHISTICATED HOME BAR SETUP FOR ROMANTIC EVENINGS

TIP #1: PRIORITIZE MOOD LIGHTING

TIP #2: VINTAGE GLASSWARE

Switch harsh overhead lighting for a warm, cordless LED lamp or flickering candles. This creates a soft, "goldenhour" glow that makes your glassware sparkle and sets an intimate mood.

Skip the modern sets and hunt for mismatched vintage coupes or etched crystal glasses. They feel like heirlooms and add an immediate sense of history to your evening.

TIP #3: TOUCH OF ROSE

Use a small, elegant vase to display a single rose right on the bar. It adds a pop of natural color and a subtle fragrance that complements your drinks.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH

TED LEE

Ted Lee is a visual artist whose work captures the soulful connection between the rolling hills of Virginia and the valleys of Southern France. His identity was forged on his grandfather’s farm, instilling a lifelong reverence for the living landscape. Unlike artists who rely on photographs, Ted paints from memory and sensory experience, evoking the "essence" of a place, from the smell of damp grass to the rhythm of rainfall.

For twenty years, Provence has served as his primary muse. Its swaying cypress trees are now his signature, appearing like graceful dancers across his canvases. Ted’s mission is simple: to paint what he loves and share that tranquility with the world.

Experience the warmth of Ted Lee’s memory-driven landscapes; see his latest collection on display now at Paysage Home!

BOOKS OF THE MONTH

In Femme ($29.95), local artist Billy Cone presents a decade-long odyssey into the female psyche. Eschewing the superficial, Cone spent twelve years capturing "candid and clear" truths through a lens of cinematic intimacy. His "Billy Original" philosophy shines in portraits that range from regal silhouettes to delicate close-ups, celebrating a fluid beauty that defies verbal description. This commanding volume acts as a visual "lily of the valley" for the Paysage Living reader, transforming any coffee table into a gallery of strength and allure that urges us to look closer at the world around us.

Our second selection, Well-Heeled in Paris ($49.95), transports us to the cobblestones of France to explore a unique cultural phenomenon with playful sophistication. Transitioning from his traditional film roots to vibrant digital photography, Cone captures the extraordinary grace of Parisian women navigating daily life—on scooters, bikes, and café terraces, all in high heels. Eschewing dense academic text for evocative quotes, the book invites readers to stop imagining and start truly seeing. It is a sensory escape that celebrates the "City of Enlightenment" through its most fashionable footwork.

See Love Everywhere: Take a look around your most-used spaces. Do the objects you see inspire you? To attract love, you must surround yourself with things that make you feel incredible. You can swap out uninspiring decor for art that speaks to your soul and remove any lingering clutter. When you love everything you see, you vibrate at a higher frequency.

Practice Daily Self-Love: Selflove is the essential ingredient for all other relationships. Set up a dedicated area in your home, perhaps a cozy reading chair or a meditation corner, that makes self-care effortless. By honoring yourself within your space, you signal to the universe that you are ready for a deep, meaningful connection.

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

4 WAYS TO INFUSE YOUR HOME WITH LOVING ENERGY

Create Good Vibrations: Harness the power of "good vibes" by adding negative ions to your air. Simple additions like pink Himalayan salt lamps or beeswax candles can instantly shift the mood. Complement this by diffusing heart-opening scents like jasmine, lavender, or rose to keep the energy light, fresh, and empowering.

Make Space for the New: Love needs room to breathe. Clear out "heartbreak clutter", items tied to heavy memories or past disappointments. By letting go of what no longer serves you and embracing peaceful simplicity, you open the door for new, vibrant love to enter your life.

COULEURS D’AMOUR:

FRENCH-INSPIRED COLOR PAIRINGS TO FALL IN LOVE WITH

There is an effortless romance found in the streets of Paris, a certain je ne sais quoi that blends historical elegance with modern flair. The French have mastered the art of "intentional contrast," creating sophisticated conversations between shades rather than simple matches. This aesthetic balances heritage with a fearless, contemporary spirit to ensure every space feels soulful and chic.

To invite this charm into your life, embrace palettes like the bold romance of Pink and Red, the coastal clarity of Blue and White, or the provincial warmth of Sage and Ochre. These pairings provide a timeless roadmap to an elevated, romantic style.

Blue & White: The Mediterranean Clarity

Pink & Red: The Bold Romance

In French styling, combining pink and red is a masterclass in breaking traditional fashion "rules" to create something far more interesting. Rather than clashing, these two hues from the same color family create a vibrant, monochromatic depth.

Sage & Ochre: The Provincial Harvest

To step away from the city and into the heart of Provence is to see the world in sage and ochre. This pairing is grounded in the natural world, blending cool, organic cabinetry with the sun-baked warmth of raw wood. Complemented by matte hardware, these earthy tones transform the kitchen into a timeless, tranquil sanctuary for slow living.

Paysage

As the voice of a generation, Imen Es has fundamentally shifted the landscape of French R&B. Known for her raw, emotive storytelling, the French-Moroccan singer has mastered the art of the modern love song, blending the gritty honesty of urban pop with the timeless soul of classic R&B. Her breakthrough diamond-certified hit, "1ère fois," remains a definitive anthem of vulnerability, proving that her music isn't just about melody, but about the profound emotional experiences that connect us all.

Featuring this month on February Radio, Imen’s discography serves as the ultimate soundtrack for romance. Her ability to navigate themes of loyalty, passion, and resilience through hits like "Attentat" and "Toi et moi" has solidified her status as a leading icon. By bringing a distinct "French flair" to the global stage, she invites listeners into a sanctuary of sound where every lyric feels like a whispered confession, making her the perfect focus for our exploration of love’s enduring impact.

SPOT THE SEVEN DIFFERENCES

SCENTS FOR EVERY SPACE

Lavender is scientifically celebrated for its ability to lower cortisol levels and encourage relaxation. In a Maison Berger ritual, the Lavender Fields scent combines the vivacity of eucalyptus and pear with the grounding nature of lavender and balm.

Why the Bedroom? It signals to your brain that the day is over. It creates a "scent memory" associated with rest, helping you drift off faster.

Marine and aquatic notes are celebrated for their ability to evoke a sense of purity and openness. The Ocean Breeze scent combines the crispness of marine air and jasmine with the calming, clean finish of white musk.

Why the Bathroom? It messages a sense of cleanliness and renewal. It transforms a functional space into a fresh sanctuary, providing a constant "airy" feel without the need for a flame.

Citrus scents are scientifically recognized for their ability to neutralize odors and provide an immediate psychological boost of energy and cleanliness. The Citrus Breeze scent combines the sparkling energy of grapefruit and bergamot with the aromatic heart of eucalyptus and pink pepper.

Why the Kitchen? It exudes a feeling of freshness and hygiene. It is highly effective at cutting through heavy cooking smells, replacing them with a crisp, effervescent trail that feels "just cleaned."
