For the past three years, Paul has been with Weiss Construction/Weiss Renewables in St. Louis, Missouri. In his role as Assistant Project Manager, his duties include managing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and design clarifications He participates in site visits to monitor progress and resolve field-specific challenges. He supports the coordination of engineering, procurement, and construction activities to align with schedules and budgets He also calculates bulk material quantities to aid procurement planning, minimizing delays, and tracks subcontractor invoices, change orders, and purchase orders to match contract terms and approved scopes
In his position as Project Engineer, Paul works with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to lead a $90 million civil and renewable energy project His work ensures smooth communication and timely issue resolution. He assists in creating Construction Work Plans with an emphasis on safety, sequencing, and resource management He developed an Excel-based asset management and preventative maintenance tracker, collaborated with plant engineers to confirm equipment compliance with specifications, and oversaw plant security access for employees and subcontractors in line with site protocols
Project Engineer, JS Vig Construction
Before joining Weiss Construction, Paul served as a Project Engineer at JS Vig Construction in Plymouth, Michigan There, he partnered with the Project Manager to plan and implement construction schedules, manage submittals and procurement, and oversee subcontractor operations and daily field activities He prepared and reviewed subcontracts, submittals, RFIs, and Requests for Change Orders (RFCOs) for accuracy and timeliness He also performed quantity takeoffs and assisted the Estimator and CEO in preparing bids for projects ranging from $500,000 to $20 million in civil and renewable sectors
Field Engineer Intern, Motor City Electric
Paul completed a three-month internship as a Field Engineer with Motor City Electric in Dearborn, Michigan Working at the Ford Truck Plant, he reviewed operations and collaborated with technical and administrative teams to resolve production issues. Using CAD tools such as NX12, Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Revit, he designed and laid out cable tray systems based on equipment and cable requirements He created and modified 500 wire tags per assignment in Excel, referencing electrical diagrams for precision, and interpreted manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot and improve equipment performance
Winner of the NECA Innovation Challenge Finals
In his senior year at Wayne State University in 2021, he joined the Electrical Contracting Innovation Challenge (ECIC), an annual design-build competition by ELECTRI International in
partnership with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) This event provides students with the chance to apply academic knowledge to real-world electrical contracting challenges, working with industry professionals to design solutions, prepare bids, and develop professional skills.
That year, Wayne State University won the competition for the first time He was among six seniors from the Construction Management program who represented a 26-member team in the finals in Nashville The project involved creating an electrical system design for a proposed residence hall, requiring both innovation and technical accuracy

Paul played Division 1 Soccer at the University of Detroit Mercy, a private Catholic institution Earlier, as a student at Detroit Catholic Central High School, he played soccer and football from 2011 to 2015

He volunteers at Holy Family Parish in Novi, Michigan. His efforts include preparing and serving fried fish dinners during Lent for community fundraising He also organizes and distributes clothing for older women and single mothers through a clothes closet program
