MINIMUM ORDER VALUE

Our minimum order value for your local van sale representative is £75. This can be spread across individual packs of any item available within our brochure.

BACK ORDERS

For items ordered but out of stock and not delivered to you, we will not keep these on back order. Please reorder these items next time you place an order.

PRICES & PACK SIZES

All RRP’s shown include VAT where applicable. The rate of VAT is confirmed in the product description. All prices, product details and listings are correct at the time of publishing but may change without notice.

DELIVERY

We will deliver your order on our own vans within the area highlighted in gold. Your knowledgeable Doughty Cakes representative will fulfil your order there and then from the back of their vehicle, so no waiting around for a parcel delivery, checking for damages or the inconvenience of unpacking your order.

Stock with confidence thanks to our Managed Sale or Return Guarantee. Our experienced van sales team helps select the right range for your store and manages stock levels to keep your display fresh and profitable.

If agreed products don’t sell within the stated shelf life, they’re covered under our sale or return system, reducing risk and helping minimise waste. That means you can offer a full range of cakes, sweet treats and bread your customers want, without worrying about unsold stock.

From our family to yours

Doughty Cakes began in 1982 with a simple vision. Our founder, Peter Doughty, recognised the growing demand for high- quality cakes within the convenience sector and set out to supply independent retailers with products they could trust.

With little more than determination and a single van, Peter began importing carefully selected cakes from across Europe, delivering them directly to stores throughout Lincolnshire. His commitment to reliability, quality and personal service quickly built the foundations of a thriving business.

As the company evolved, Peter’s sons each played a part in shaping its direction.

Mark Doughty made a significant contribution during these formative years, helping to establish the strong foundations that supported the company’s future growth. His insight and dedication strengthened the business at key moments, and although he has since moved on to new ventures, he remains a shareholder and continues to take an active interest in the company’s progress.

Today, Carl and Martin Doughty proudly lead the business, bringing with them more than 50 years of combined industry experience. Their knowledge, commitment and hands-on approach ensure that the values which have defined Doughty Cakes for over four decades continue to sit at the centre of everything we do.
