Hello!
I’m Paula, and I’ve been drawing since I was a kid. I’m never without a notebook and pens. Most of my free time is spent drawing or finding inspiration in nature’s daintiest flowers, creatures, or anything with color that catches my eye.
As a teenager, I moved from the small town where I was born to “the big city” to attend college and study art. This move was my first taste of travel, and it was all I needed to pack up with my camera and drawing pads and hit the road once I graduated. This travel bug took me to over 30 countries. After more than a decade of traveling, I landed in Taiwan and started teaching.
My art is a melding of my love of nature and color with my travel experiences and (from what I’ve been told) my Dr. Seuss-like imagination. I’m constantly inspired by the world around me and use it to create my own unique world.
