A 4 week shadow internship with a well respected firm in Vero Beach, Florida. Done during my last semester of High School (2024). Most days it consisted of shadowing one of the associates to learn how they interact with clients and contribute to the projects. I was exposed to the collaboration that occurs in the office and how they deal with a construction manager on-site during the construction phase. Got introduced to Revit and what features helps the associates translate to construction plans.

Tectonic details and joinery are articulated across roof, walls, floor, columns, and ground to emphasize structural expression.

This project proposes a rooftop pavilion at DAAP. Designed as an all-season event space for students and faculty, it emphasizes spatial experiences through movement, threshold, and gathering. The design explores how the body engages space and views, focusing on arrival, path, and transition. Developed through iterations, the project builds on foundational drawing and modeling skills acquired during the first year.

The modular project consisted of designing and constructing a modular system that could aggregate into a façade. It was a group project with five people, including myself. Our module consists of six octagonal faces—four open and two closed. It features a male-to-female connection through the open and closed faces. The octagonal shape allows each connection to be rotated in eight different orientations, providing endless possibilities for a distinct assemblage.
