Email from a listener: “It’s Kay from Ohio! Just had to share another blessing coming to me as I listen to WPER this afternoon! I was making some homemade bread when I bumped the bowl with all my ingredients onto the floor! I was very frustrated at the mess and wasted ingredients! As I cleaned it up, Micah Tyler’s song Praise the Lord came on and I just had to smile! Such perfect timing and I don’t think it’s a coincidence! We got a call from Ginger, and she wanted to share with us that she lost her husband to stomach cancer last year. She said he would go out to his shed and listen to WPER and on his most difficult days as he battled cancer, WPER was there, and gave him hope and encouragement to face the day and the days to come. She is so grateful for the gift WPER gave to her husband!

A Night to Shine We were invited to have a table at this year’s Night To Shine at Fairmount Christian Church on Friday, February 6. It was an amazing night and we got to celebrate with everyone that attended.

Text from a listener: “I took the 30 day challenge about 6 years ago and I listen to no other station. All of the presets in my truck are set to WPER. I grew up in a house where my father took us to a Catholic Church, but he NEVER opened up a Bible at home. So as a child of GOD I was starving for the word of GOD. So to bring it back to WPER, my parents didn’t encourage us at all. We were to “do as I say.” So I thank GOD for WPER. I know there are millions of us that grew up like I did. A side note ... when I go into work, WPER is playing. When I go into a number of stores in Richmond, WPER is playing. May GOD continue to bless you all. Thank you!”

Little Hands, Big Impact During a recent visit from a homeschool co-op in Maryland, three students touched our hearts with a special gift—a handwritten card and $13 to support the ministry. After learning that WPER is listener-supported, they wanted to be part of what God is doing through the station. What an incredible reminder of the impact of young, faithful hearts.

Caleb & John kicked things off Friday night, with Megan Woods leading a powerful night on Saturday.
