Sweet Generosity at a Young Age Eli and his first-grade classmates at Rose Hill Christian School spent the school year running a lemonade stand. At the end of the year, their teacher chose several local organizations to receive a portion of the proceeds, and Walk FM was honored to be one of them. Even more special, Eli’s gift matched the amount he had already given during our Spring Fundraiser. What a beautiful example of a generous heart!

The pace of life can be so busy, but the Prayer Walk was a chance to slow it down, be present and reconnect with God and with one another. Over 75 of us spent time in prayer, fellowship and encouragement—lifting up families, communities and those in need.

Our Social Media Recap A Prayer Walk Blessing “It truly was a blessing with how it all worked out. My best friend was going to be out of town on my birthday and my sister lives in upper WV, she wasn’t sure of her plans. Back story, since I lost my parents, mom in 2017 and my dad in 2020. I was their caregiver. It was a big loss for me. I more than less became a shut in. I wouldn’t, didn’t like to go out unless It was an absolute must. A few months ago, I started going to church with my best friend, it felt like family. It was a big step for me. I didn’t know what God had planned for me, but doors were opening, in my life and in my heart. I heard about the WALKFM Prayer walk and decided I wanted to go, but no one would go with me. I felt God pull me and I stepped out big time and went to the walk by myself.....that was so huge for me. Then, the blessings happened. I met great people, my WALKFM people. I entered the drawing for the TobyMac concert which was on June 19th, my birthday, I didn’t think I had a chance. I don’t win at hardly anything. God changed things. A few days later I get the call that I had won tickets to the concert. I called my sister and she was free to go with me. She drove 2 1/2 hours to come go with me, on my birthday, to the concert. God’s hands lined up everything. It was truly a blessing. So thank you my WALKFM friends for making that a unforgettable, beautiful, blessing filled night. It was so nice to meet you and see you at the concert. Thank you again. With a full heart, Alecia”

Touch a Truck The Walk FM team had a blast helping kick off summer at Touch a Truck on June 5! Families from across the community came together for a day of fun as kids climbed aboard their favorite vehicles, honked the horns, and met the everyday heroes who serve our community.
