Hope in the Hardest Places Receiving a handwritten letter from an inmate was a deeply moving reminder of the reach of this ministry. Even in the most difficult environments, Walk FM is bringing comfort, encouragement, and the peace of God. “Hello! I listen to Walk FM everyday! I’m thinking about making the ButterflyHugs® a project for my Girl Scout Troop. I have six 3rd grade girls. I know for sure a few of them have been personally affected by a loss or a fight of cancer in the family. We live in Ohio and in our little town we have a cancer center. Strecker Cancer Center. I’m not certain if they already have a box of butterflies in their location but if they don’t how do we as a troop get one available? Im very new at leading a troop so I might be going about this the wrong way but any help would be appreciated. Night to Shine We had the honor of spending an evening at Christ Temple Church for Night to Shine, an unforgettable celebration of God’s love for every individual. Night to Shine is such a powerful reminder that every person is wonderfully made, deeply valued, and deserving of being seen and celebrated. The joy in the room was contagious, and every smile, laugh, and moment on the dance floor reflected something truly special.

We spent Friday evening celebrating community, joy, and fellowship at our annual Night of Love & Laughter with Jaron Myers. With around 150 guests in attendance, the room was filled with energy, connection, and plenty of laughter. It was a beautiful night and everyone left with smiles.

A Weekend of Worship and Connection We had the incredible opportunity to attend a concert this weekend featuring Franni Cash and Brandon Lake! Two amazing teenagers (including Staci’s son, Tyson) volunteered their time to help with setup, which made the experience even more special. We were also able to connect with listeners and donors who came out for the show, making it a meaningful time of fellowship and encouragement. It was truly an amazing weekend!

Planting Seeds for the Future We spent the morning with 3rd–5th grade students at Summit Elementary for our first Career Day of the year—kicking things off with the perfect little helper to start the day!
A Night of Worship & Transformation We had the opportunity to be part of the Ben Fuller Black Sheep Tour, where we connected with listeners and donors and heard powerful stories of faith and encouragement. One of the most special moments of the evening was witnessing nine baptisms, which was a beautiful reminder of lives being transformed. A Night of Music, Family, and Joy On Saturday, March 21, we had the opportunity to be part of The Love I Have For You Tour featuring Colton Dixon, Tasha Layton, and Bodie. It was a phenomenal evening filled with powerful music and uplifting moments. One of the most special parts of the night was seeing so many families experiencing it together—children and parents sharing smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. A Hopping Good Time at Camp Landing On March 24, we joined the community for the Camp Landing Bunny Hop, another fantastic event sponsored by Boyd County Community & Economic Development. Families came out in full force, with over 1,000 free Easter Bunny photos capturing smiles all around. More than 40 Easter baskets were given away, thanks to the generosity of local businesses and organizations, making it a joyful and memorable celebration for everyone involved.

The Walk FM family had the opportunity to deliver ButterflyHugs® to Lilly’s Place, a nonprofit in Huntington, WV dedicated to caring for infants born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS). In addition to their specialized care for these precious babies, they also provide vital support services and basic essentials for families and caregivers.

While getting out of my car at Walmart, a couple stopped me and said, ‘Walk FM is the best station—that’s all we listen to. We truly appreciate all you do.’ They shared that last July, they were in a serious car accident they shouldn’t have survived. With Walk FM playing, Anita cried out to Jesus—and though the other vehicle was going over 70 mph, their car barely moved. Miraculously, they walked away without injury.
