FOR Joy A sweet listener stopped by to donate some butterflies for our ButterflyHugs® Program. She also insisted on praying with us. She said if she can’t do anything else she could pray and give ButterflyHugs ®.
We received a sweet visit from Darrell and Luda bearing brownie cookies and gluten free brownies. They also had a Christmas card for the team along with a gift for me to wish me well in my retirement. We were so busy snacking on the cookies that we forgot to take a picture!

Happy Retirement, Donna! After ten and a half years of faithful service, Joy FM extended heartfelt thanks to someone who had been a steady anchor of our station. Donna Carpenter began her journey with Joy FM on July 6, 2015, bringing a quiet strength, calm spirit, and dependability that shaped our workplace from day one. As our Office Manager, she faithfully served behind the scenes and ensured everything ran smoothly with consistency and excellence. Colossians 3:23 (NKJV) reflected Donna’s approach to her work: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” We loved seeing glimpses of her playful side through her love for her dog Cooper and her enjoyment of NASCAR. As Donna retired on December 31, she left a lasting legacy of servant leadership and remained a cherished part of the Joy FM family, and we prayed God’s richest blessings over her in this new season.
