For many of you reading
this issue, you may have
already seen your last guests of 2016 – for
others, you are managing to make the yearround
glamping business dream a reality!
I recently enjoyed an October half term holiday
at the Dome Garden in Gloucestershire.
Nestling on the edge of the Forest of Dean, this
was the most amazing setting for an Autumn
glamping trip. We enjoyed tramping through
russet leaf-strewn woods by day (with wild boar
snorting nearby) and feasting on wonderful
food in the evening at the Dome Garden’s
lovely restaurant. Owner Jonny Clothier is one
of glamping’s pioneers and he kindly took the
time to be interviewed for this issue. We also
revisit Phil and Avril this month with their
brand new glamping business – Offa’s Pitch.
