As we welcome the spring season, the Club remains focused on delivering a vibrant calendar of golf, dining, and social experiences. Your participation and engagement are the driving force behind our community’s energy and success, and we encourage you to take full advantage of the many opportunities ahead.
Spring is one of the most active and exciting times on the golf calendar, highlighted by the Players Men’s Invitational as well as the Men’s, Senior, and Ladies Club Championships. Strong participation in these events helps preserve the competitive spirit and traditions that define our Club.
The Culinary Series returns with a Moonlit Mediterranean Night, featuring coastal flavors and curated wine pairings. In addition, Lounge 28 will introduce a refreshed Spring Menu showcasing seasonal selections designed to elevate your everyday dining experience. Your continued support of Club dining plays a vital role in sustaining the quality, consistency, and variety of our food and beverage offerings.
The social calendar remains equally active. Member-led and Clubsupported programs—including Ladies Mahjong, Canasta, and Book Club— continue to grow and thrive. These activities provide valuable opportunities to connect, build friendships, and strengthen our community.
As Club activity increases, we kindly ask for your partnership in honoring our 72-hour cancellation policy for events and dining reservations. Timely cancellations allow our team to plan effectively, manage labor and product responsibly, and accommodate fellow members whenever possible.
We appreciate your continued engagement and support as we enter what promises to be a busy and exciting spring season. Member involvement in Club programs and services are essential to maintaining a dynamic atmosphere and ensuring the long-term strength and sustainability of the Club experience.
Thank you for being an important part of our community.

LADIES Own The Score Zone!
Whether you’re preparing to compete or simply looking to become more consistent, this month is about playing smarter, scoring better, and building confidence in the shots that matter most.
March is all about sharpening your Approach and Short Game as we gear up for an exciting stretch of competition.
With the Ladies One-Day Member-Guest on March 3 and the Club Championship March 27–29, there’s no better time to dial in the parts of the game that truly lower scores. This month’s programming will focus on solid iron play, disciplined driving, confident putting, and simplified chipping—because while every shot counts, scoring happens from tee to green and especially from 100 yards and in.
Each week we’ll build skills that translate directly to tournament play:
Week 1 — Iron Play
Creating solid contact and understanding the importance of the clubface.
Week 2 — Putting
Putting under pressure—mastering speed control and steady nerves.
Week 3 —Long Game
Driving with discipline— prioritizing control before distance.
Week 4 —Chipping
Simplify technique. Simplify thinking. Pick a landing spot, not the hole.
MARCH 27-29
Road to the Masters with RYAN GERARD
With the Masters tournament on the Horizon, Panther National’s PGA Tour Member Ryan Gerard has secured his spot in the 2026 field.
In December, Ryan traveled more than 10,000 miles to Mauritius, a small island nation off the southeastern coast of Africa, with a clear objective. Ranked 57th in the Official World Golf Ranking, he needed at least a tie for fourth at the DP World Tour’s AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open to move inside the top 50 and earn an invitation to Augusta … and he delivered.
Ryan advanced to a playoff and finished runner-up—moving him into the top 50 in the world and locking up his Masters debut. We caught up with Ryan to ask a few quick questions about his journey to Augusta and what the moment means as he prepares for April.
What was the most challenging part about your trip to Mauritius?
A: Honestly, it was just the logistics. Figuring out how to get there and still feel rested and prepared was the biggest challenge. You don’t want your body to feel completely shot before the week even starts.
The time change definitely throws you off. I’ve found that trips five or six hours off your normal time — like Hawaii or the UK — can actually feel harder than going somewhere much farther like Japan or Africa. When it’s that extreme, your body almost just resets and you roll with it.
What are you most looking forward to about playing in this year’s Masters Tournament?
A: The Masters is one of those bucket-list events you dream about growing up.
I watched it every year as a kid. I’ve been to Augusta once before, but playing in the tournament is a completely different experience.
I’m just really looking forward to the opportunity to compete at that magnitude and at such an iconic venue.
Is there a specific menu item you’re excited to try at Augusta?
A: I honestly haven’t gotten that far yet. But if they’ve got a chocolate chip cookie, I’m guessing it’s going to be pretty solid.
Will your girlfriend be on the bag for you during the Par 3 Contest?
A: Yeah, that’s the plan. The Par 3 Contest is such a fun tradition, and it’s a great way to share the week with someone close to you. I might have to put her through a little boot camp to get the yardages dialed in — but we’ll be ready.
How have Panther National’s course and practice facilities helped you prepare for Tour stops?
A: The biggest thing is how efficient the facilities are. If I’ve only got a couple hours, I can get a really quality session in without wasting time.
Everything is laid out so you don’t have to constantly move around to set up drills. You can work on wedges in tight yardage increments, hit full shots, use the short game area, or head over to the Par 3 Course for more variety. There’s a lot you can do — but it’s also simple and efficient, which makes a big difference when you’re preparing for tournament golf.
With major Member tournaments coming up, what’s one tip for scoring lower under pressure?
A: Managing expectations is huge. When I play a tournament, I’m not expecting to shoot 59 every day. My focus is on hitting quality shots, committing to each one, having a good attitude, and controlling what I can control. If I handle those things, the results usually take care of themselves.
Unrealistic expectations create pressure. But not caring at all doesn’t work either. It’s about finding the right balance and building a simple game plan you can stick to.

THE CENTERED ROTATION CLAP
GOLF TIP FROM TOM DYER
STEP 1: Setup
Start in a strong golf posture. Bring your hands together in front of your chest as if you’re about to clap. This establishes your center point and promotes awareness of upper-body positioning.
STEP 2: Back Swing
Keep your lead hand in place. Rotate your trail hip and rib cage away from the target.
Allow your trail hand to move back, up, and in. Focus on turning — not swaying — to maintain centered rotation.
Why it Works
STEP 3: Through Swing
Now mirror the motion to the lead side. Keep your trail hand in its starting position while rotating your lead hip and rib cage toward the target.Feel your body rotate around a stable center.
This drill builds centered rotation and proper body sequencing — key ingredients for more consistent, solid contact.
