From the Course

Dear Panther Members,

February promises to be an outstanding month at Panther National, with an exciting lineup of golf events and opportunities to enjoy the club at the height of our season.

We are thrilled to host the first Panther National Golf Majors of 2026, where we will once again identify the club’s premier two-person teams. The Ladies Member-Member will take place on Tuesday, February 17, followed by the Big Cat Men’s Member-Member on February 20-21.

For those looking to improve their games while connecting with fellow Members, we encourage participation in our weekly Technique Training sessions held each Thursday at 3:00 PM. These supervised practices are designed to sharpen skills, foster camaraderie, and ultimately lower scores.

February also features several popular social and instructional events, including Links & Drinks on February 1 and February 15, as well as the Chip & Sip Short Game Clinic & Challenge on February 26.

As we move into peak season, we kindly ask all members to be especially mindful of course care

and golf etiquette. Please remember to keep carts at least 30 yards from all green approaches, repair your ball mark (and one more), and replace or fill divots— or take advantage of one of our exceptional caddies, who are always happy to assist.

We also encourage Members to embrace the traditions that make the game special: walking the course with a caddie whenever possible, maintaining an appropriate pace of play, and showing consideration for players. These time-honored practices enhance the overall experience and help preserve the spirit and condition of Panther National for all to enjoy.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you on the course this February.

Warm regards,

MIKE'S HONEST GOLF

This February, we’re excited to introduce a new addition to our Club Fitting program that brings even more precision, flexibility, and expertise to the Golf Shop.

PGA Professional Michael N. D’Orazio, founder of Mike’s Honest Golf, offers professional club fitting services on site at Panther National. His approach is unbiased and player-focused, with an emphasis on matching the right equipment to each individual swing rather than promoting a specific brand or inventory.
