In our effort to provide the finest golf experience, Panther National will have outstanding caddies available for members who make a request in advance. These highly skilled “Player Ambassadors” will assist golfers to score lower, play faster, and help maintain pristine course conditions for all. The club urges all members to support our Caddie Program, one of golf’s most valued traditions.
Caddies will be required for groups with two or more guests to ensure a premier golf experience, proper care for the course, and pace of play. Family members are not considered guests under this policy.
Requests will be made by contacting the golf professional staff at least 24 hours in advance of play. We ask that members do not contact the caddies directly. Caddie requests will be taken but, the Caddiemaster will assign caddies as needed to distribute work amongst the group and to provide members the opportunity to enjoy different caddies.
Caddies are assigned by the Caddiemaster and cannot be reserved in advance. To ensure fairness to allow all members the opportunity to work with a variety of caddies, we avoid consistently pairing the same caddie with the same member. While caddie requests for tournaments are welcome, final assignments are at the discretion of the Caddiemaster.
Half of the service fee will be charged to the members account if no prior communication is given within three hours of expected round.
Members and certified junior golfers may walk the course after 3 p.m. at the discretion of the golf professional staff. Players choosing to walk must allow faster players to play through when there are open holes in front.

The golf course is Panther National’s primary asset. Golf carts should remain on the cart path on all par three holes and not be driven within 30 yards of any Championship Course par four or par five green. Golf Carts should not be driven in low areas or near drain tiles in wet conditions. When puddles are visible on a cart path, please drive through the puddle slowly not to damage the turf on either side.
Only persons with a valid driver’s license are permitted to operate golf carts. All carts must stay on the cart paths when in the vicinity of tees and greens. Each member is responsible for any damage done to a golf cart or golf course while operating the golf cart. The member or guest is liable for any personal physical injury or injury to another person while driving the cart.

Personal fleet carts must be registered with the golf shop and meet the standard club requirements to be eligible for annual trail fees and member play.
Miscellaneous carts such as 4-seaters, utility carts, and any other means of transport are prohibited on the golf course and must be parked in designated lot upon arrival.
The Championship and Short Course both have large lake banks and retaining wall bulkheads. Please use caution and stay an appropriate distance from these when walking and driving golf carts.
18 Holes - $40 / 9 Holes - $20

Prior notice of all guest play is essential to ensuring an elite club and golf experience for all. For this reason, we kindly ask all members to provide the professional staff with advanced notice of their plans to host friends or family.

GUEST PLAY LIMIT
No one guest will be permitted to play more than 8 rounds a year.
Members should bring, or sponsor for unaccompanied play, only those guests they would be willing to sponsor for membership into the club. Members are responsible for informing their guests of club policies and proper attire. Unaccompanied guest play will be limited to ensure no interference with member play. All charges, excluding golf shop merchandise will be billed to the members’ account.
Credit cards and cash are not accepted in the club for guest fees, carts, or food and beverage purchases. However, guests may use credit cards for the purchase of merchandise in the golf shop.
Guest fees are charged to the member’s account on a per round basis. All members with guests, and all unaccompanied guests, must register in the golf shop.
We value Panther National’s family-friendly atmosphere and encourage family play. To provide exceptional service to all, the following guidelines must be adhered to by vertical family of resident members and family guests of non-resident members. If a family member would like access to the golf course unaccompanied of the member, the family member must make a play request.
The play request can be made for any time or day 72 hours in advance of date of play. Please note that times requested on Fridays, weekends, and holidays will be limited to ensure primary member access the Championship Course.

All play should check in with the golf professional staff prior to starting play. Any group stopping or sitting down for food during the round will lose their place on the golf course. To resume play, they must check with the golf staff and then wait for an appropriate opening prior to continuing play. Allowing a group to play through while you eat does not entitle you to fall in behind that group.
For maximum enjoyment it is essential all members play at an appropriate pace. The club wants all rounds to be completed in four hours or less. It is essential that groups keep up the group in front of them. If a group is waiting behind and there is an open hole ahead, the waiting group must be invited to play through. It is then the obligation of the group playing through to stay well ahead of the group they played through.
Below are a few tips that will help your overall pace of play. Playing quickly does not have to compromise the social aspect of the game.
• Utilize a forecaddie to expedite course care, club selection, and green reading.
• When leaving the tee box walk with your group until you reach the fairway, then proceed directly to your ball. If using a cart, drop your partner off at their ball and proceed to your ball. Don’t wait for them to hit their shot.
• While your playing partners are playing their shot, get ready to play your own. Use this time to get the distance, judge the wind, and choose your club.
• If you are out of the hole please pick up and take the maximum allowable score (See Equitable Stroke Control later in the handbook).
• As soon as you get to the green, begin reading and lining up your putt. When it is your turn, step in and play without delay.
• Record your scores on the next tee rather than on the green of the hole just completed.
• And finally... PLAY READY GOLF!

Panther National was designed to allow for “Short Loops – mini rounds” to accommodate members with limited time for play. Members seeking to play a quick few holes may play a three hole course using holes 1 to 3 or when activity permits, holes 4 to 6 or 7 to 9. Those seeking a 6-hole round may play holes 1 through 6. The Panther9 is also an excellent option for a quick round where nine holes can be completed in 30 minutes.
One of the biggest determining factors to your enjoyment and pace of play is in the selection of tees that you choose to play from. An individual’s playing ability and average driving distance are the key components in determining how much golf course to play. With five sets of tees and seven tee boxes to choose from, all golfers can find a set that best suits them. As a reference:
• Black Tees: Professional or scratch golfers who carry their drive over 270 yards. Suggested handicap range - scratch.
• Silver Tees: Single digit handicapped golfers who carry their drive more than 240 yards. Suggested handicap range 0-7.
• Gold Tees: Golfer who carry their drive more than 180 yards. Suggested handicap range 0-25.
• Blue Tees: Golfers who carry their drive less than 180 yards.
• Green Tees: Super seniors, lady golfers, and junior golfers.

CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE, PAR THREE, & PRACTICE FACILITIES

The club encourages all members to post every 18-hole or 9-hole score they play at Panther National and at other clubs. Accurate handicaps are vital to the integrity of the game. The professional staff is available to assist with handicap input. The official USGA handicap indexes are revised the day after posting a score.
The club reserves the right to review handicaps prior to major member tournament play. Net winners of a club major tournament should expect a review of their current handicap and possible reduction prior to future club majors.

You can post scores after your round through the Panther National App as it links directly with your GHIN #.
The maximum score that a player can record for handicap posting purposes is par + two strokes + any handicap stroke(s) that the player receives on that hole.

/ OUT OF BOUNDS IS DEFINED BY THE FOLLOWING
The course side edge at ground level of white boundary stakes and perimeter fences and walls. The water’s edge on the opposite side of the red penalty areas where they are part of a homeowner’s property. Out of bounds right on #14 is defined by the north edge of the cart path adjacent to Panther National Blvd. Out of bounds is defined by inside edge of cart paths behind #6, #9, #14, and #18 greens.
On hole #5, a stroke played from general area that comes to rest in any penalty area may be played, as an additional option, from the designated drop zone under a penalty of one stroke. A ball played from the teeing area on hole #15 and coming to rest in any penalty area may, as an additional option, be dropped under penalty of one stroke, on the front half of the forward teeing area.
The green side or general area side of any bulkhead adjacent to penalty areas define the edge of the penalty area. Any ball coming to rest on top of the bulkhead or against the bulkhead on the general area side of the course will be deemed in the penalty area. Relief may be taken with penalty or play the ball as it lies.
There are NO bunkers on the course. All sandy areas whether natural, specially prepared and/or enclosed by grass and are not in a penalty area are treated as part of the general area. These areas are not considered to be cut to fairway height or less and relief for an embedded ball under rule 16.3b in not allowed in these areas.
a. Prior to a stroke the player may make practice swings in these areas and may ground the club lightly right in front or right behind the ball.
b. In searching for a ball in these areas (Rule 7.1) the player may move sand and there is no penalty if the ball is accidentally moved by anyone while trying to find or identify it (Rule7.4). In such case, or if the ball is lifted for identification or other reason, the original lie must be re-created when the ball is replaced but the player may leave a small part of the ball visible when doing so.
c. Sand and loose soil are not loose impediments and the only areas of the course where they may be removed, without penalty, is on the putting green and in the teeing area.
NOTE: Rakes will be provided so that these areas can be smoothed as a courtesy to other players and care for the course. Players may encounter footprints, indentations, vehicular damage, or uneven surfaces - Free relief is not allowed from any of these alterations.
All unpaved roads and cart paths are integral parts of the golf course from which there is no free relief.
A player may take relief under Rule 16.1b if their ball is in the general area cut to fairway height or less and an immovable obstruction is on the line of play and is within two club-lengths of the putting green, and within two-club lengths of the ball.
When a player’s ball cannot be found or is known or virtually certain to be out of bounds, the player may proceed as follows rather than proceeding under stroke and distance. For two penalty strokes, the player may take relief by dropping the original ball or a substituted ball in this relief area (see Rule 14.3). Two Estimated Reference Points:
Ball Reference Point: The point where the original ball is estimated to have come to rest on the course, or last crossed the edge of the course boundary to go out of bounds.
Fairway Reference Point: The point of fairway of the hole being played that is nearest to the ball reference point but is not nearer the hole than the ball reference point. For purposes of this Local Rule, “fairway” means any area of grass in the general area that is cut to fairway height or less.

The Short course is a fun and challenging nine-hole par three course located on the eastern side of the property. Tee signs identify the designated teeing area for each par 3. Holes range in length from 90 to 150 yards, with longer holes possible using “cross country” play. This incredible course includes an island green par three that can play the identical yardage as the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. Make up your own match, play closest to the pin, have a short game challenge, or simply have fun working on your approach and short game before or after your round.
Inspired by the Himalayas Putting Course at St. Andrews, Panther National’s nearly one acre Nicklaus-designed putting course is an awesome place for your group to gather pre- or post-round, settle bets, have fun with family, or train to enhance your putting skills. Test your putting skills over the undulations, peaks, valleys, and around a bunker positioned in the center of the green. You will find every putt you can imagine, and some you couldn’t dream up. Another perfect way to start or finish your day or round at Panther National. Drink holders are marked with hole numbers to designate tees.
Panther National’s practice facilities are the finest in the world. The practice range is aesthetically pleasing while warming up and allows for the serious golfer to measurably improve their skills. The target greens on the range are grassed using trinity zoysia so players can see how a well struck ball reacts once landing. This gives the practice range the look of having a series of different length par threes to hit at. Each target green will be sized appropriately for its shot length (target size will be equal to a PGA Tour average shot for that distance). There is also a US Open width fairway (27-yards wide) going up the center of the range establishing a resource to gain confidence when you take your game to the course. Range balls are for use on the practice range and short game area only. The club will regulate the closing of the practice facilities in order to retrieve balls and perform turf maintenance.
Panther National’s short game training area has a uniquely shaped green and bunkers. This will allow members to not only perfect the distance wedges, pitches, and chip shots needed at Panther National but, also the shots they will encounter at any of the best courses in the world. Unique to Panther National directly across from the short game area, players can utilize The AimPoint Putting Green, designed with up to 4% slope, aimpoint is known for its innovative and precise green-reading system, helping golfers improve their putting accuracy.
