KRION® is a cutting-edge compact uniform mineral material developed by Porcelanosa Group, made of a high percentage of natural minerals like alumina trihydrate (ATH) and a low percentage of high-resistance acrylic resins. It is perfect for creating non-porous surfaces with a warm feel and an appearance similar to natural stone. It is hard, robust and long-lasting, with a resistance to most impacts and to extreme weather conditions. It withstands the passage of time with just minimum wear and tear, making it easy to clean and care for. It is manufactured in the form of sheets of different formats, thicknesses, colours and designs. KRION® is handled much like wood. It can be cut and bonded using KRION® adhesive to create continuous surfaces with imperceptible seams.

KRION® est un minéral compact homogène de nouvelle génération, un matériau développé par le Groupe Porcelanosa, qui est composé par un pourcentage élevé de minéraux naturels tels que le Trihydrate d’alumine (ATH) et un faible pourcentage de résines acryliques très résistantes. C’est un matériau pensé pour les surfaces, chaud au toucher et avec une esthétique similaire à la pierre naturelle, non poreux, très robuste et avec une excellente durabilité à l’usage. Il présente une dureté élevée, résiste à la plupart des impacts, offre un excellent comportement aux intempéries dans des conditions extrêmes, sans détérioration au fil du temps et avec une usure quotidienne minime. Il demande donc un entretien minime et un nettoyage simple. Il s’agit d’un matériau produit sous forme de plaques de différents formats, épaisseurs, couleurs et décorations, qui est travaillé d’une façon similaire au bois ce qui permet de le couper et de l’assembler à l’aide de la colle KRION® , en créant des joints invisibles et des espaces infinis.

KRION® Porcelanosa Solid Surface is a pleasant material that is warm to the touch, similar to natural stone. It is made of two thirds natural minerals (ATH) and a low percentage of high-resistance resins. This formula lends the KRION® a series of exclusive properties: it is non-porous, long lasting, highly resistant and simple to repair, as well as being easy to clean and care for. KRION® has a Euroclass B sl d0 fire performance rating with no restrictions in accordance with the EN 13501-1B standard, a B1 rating in accordance with the DIN 4102 standard, and class A rating as per the American ASTM E84 standard. It has also been declared non-toxic by external laboratories, with an A+ VOC emissions rating. It is certified as complying with Greenguard Gold by UL, as being food grade by NSF under the ANSI 51 “Food Equipment Materials”standard and as complying with the REACH regulation by SGS, in addition to being Si02 and BPA free. KRION® Porcelanosa Solid Surface est un matériau agréable et chaud au toucher similaire à la pierre naturelle. Ce matériau est composé de deux tiers de minéraux naturels (ATH) et d’un faible pourcentage de résines d’une grande résistance. Cette composition dote KRION® de certaines particularités exclusives : absence de pores, durabilité, grande résistance et facilité de réparation, entretien minime et nettoyage facile. KRION® a été classé selon son comportement au feu comme Euroclasse B s1 d0 sans restrictions selon la norme EN 13501-1, B1 sur la base de la norme DIN 4102 et « Class A » selon la norme américaine ASTM E84. Il a également été déclaré non toxique par les laboratoires externes et concernant les émissions de COV, classé A+ et Greenguard Gold par UL, Certification ANSI 51 “Food Equipment Materials” par NSF, conforme au REACH par SGS et sans Si02 ni Bisphénol A.
