James Cole — one of the most recognized names in the cruise industry — launched Panache Cruises in 2020. Guided by one principle, ‘Nothing is too much trouble’, he wanted to disrupt the industry and do things differently.
Fast forward to the present day, and it’s exactly that ethos that still drives us forward. We exist to provide a world-class luxury cruising experience, from your first interaction with us, right through to your return from your cruise and beyond. We meet you where you are on your cruise journey, be that just browsing, ready to book or as one of our repeat Founders members on the search for your next luxury cruise.
We aim to inspire you with relevant, engaging and inspirational content, answering all your questions and needs before walking you through the booking process with a truly personal approach. We know you want to deal with an expert cruise connoisseur, dedicated to you — so that’s what we are. We know you want a truly unique experience, not a ready-made holiday, so we make that happen. We know you want unrivaled financial security and complete confidence that your money is in the right hands — and our ATOL-approved gives you just that. The list goes on.
The truth is, booking a luxury or ultraluxury cruise has been too difficult for too long, with archaic phone systems, multiple points of contact and significant amounts of time spent on hold. We take away all the fuss and put pleasure back at the centre of the process. We give you the luxury booking experience your luxury cruise deserves.
Our brilliant cruise connoisseurs are the lifeblood of Panache Cruises. They’re well-traveled, like-minded cruise fans, each a specialist in a different destination or type of cruise.
Some are hardy souls who prefer the adrenaline of an expedition cruise; others are laid-back and choose the luxury ocean life, relaxing on a cabana with a cold drink in their hand. All of them are lovely, engaging and willing to do whatever it takes to get your dream vacation booked.
You’ll only ever be assigned one cruise connoisseur. They’ll get to know you, understand exactly what you’re looking for and make personalized recommendations based on what you like. On average, each connoisseur has around 10 years of experience each, and between them they’ve got well over 100 years! The devil is in the detail, Nothing is too much trouble — however you want to say it — everything is taken care of with your luxury cruise booking by our cruise connoisseurs.

Our Founders rewards program gives you exclusive benefits and discounts when you book a luxury cruise with us. Collect points by booking luxury cruises with us and move up through the tiers from Bronze level all the way up to Platinum. Refer your friends to Panache Cruises, earn extra points, and then spend those points as cash value off your next cruise; 10,000 points is worth $100. All you need to do is make a booking with Panache Cruises and you’ll automatically become a Founders member with access to all these benefits.
• Free giveaways as you move through the Founders tiers
• Invitation to a full schedule of hosted Founders cruises
• Exclusive luxury cruise offers in your inbox regularly
• VIP access to events and ship visits
• Direct access to James Cole
You’ll also receive exclusive invitations to our Founders cruises, hosted by James Cole. He will share his love and passion for luxury cruising with you aboard some of the most beautiful ships sailing the Seven Seas. The main draw of these beautiful experiences is the sense of community felt on board amongst fellow passengers. You can choose to enjoy mealtimes together, explore ashore together, drink together and share stories in the evenings. You’ll make friends and memories that last a lifetime.

Head to our Trustpilot and you’ll see we’re 5.0-out-of-5.0 stars; the only UK cruise agency so highlyrated. You’ll find hundreds of glittering reviews about our cruise connoisseurs and the service they offer. We love that. Making you happy motivates us, giving us faith and justification in our hard work. We love that our customers choose us, time-and-again, as their luxury cruise agent.
Part of our difference is that we are industry insiders. We speak to our cruise line partners daily, keeping each other up-to-date with current goings-on. The benefit of such a strong relationship is that we can offer insights and prices you won’t find anywhere else. Our cruise line partners trust us; we even invited them to our staff parties!
We’re trustworthy too. The Travel Trust Association provides us with a trust account where all customer monies are paid until they are required to pay for your cruise holiday. Panache Cruises is also an ATOL-bonded travel company, which means your holiday, cash and all, is fully protected. You can absolutely rely on us with your luxury cruise holiday.

“Lindblad Expeditions pioneered modern expedition travel. Since the very beginning, we have been guided by our enduring commitment to deliver the most immersive experiences in the world’s most awe-inspiring destinations, and by our abiding belief in the transformative power of travel. ”
— NATALYA LEAHY CEO, Lindblad Expeditions

This year is a special one for all of us at National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions: it marks 60 years since the journey that began our story. In 1966, my father, Lars-Eric Lindblad, gathered a small group of travelers and set course for Antarctica, a place so remote it was known only to explorers and scientists. That voyage was the world’s first expedition cruise—the beginning of a new era in exploration.
What began in Antarctica was more than a milestone —it was the spark of an idea: that travel, done with purpose, could change how people see the planet and their place in it. Over six decades, that spirit has carried us across every ocean and onto every continent, inspiring travelers to see the world as a connected whole, and to care deeply for its future.
Milestones like this one matter. They remind us of who we are and what we stand for. Just last year, we celebrated 45 years in Baja California, where we pioneered expedition travel and introduced generations of travelers to one of the most vibrant marine ecosystems on Earth. Looking ahead to 2027, we’ll mark 60 years in the Galápagos. Few places capture our mission so completely as Darwin’s legendary archipelago, where science, conservation and wonder intersect in a way that continues to define what we do.
For me, these anniversaries are not only a celebration of the past—they are an invitation to look ahead, to imagine what future decades of exploration might bring, and to continue building on the legacy my father began.
Looking forward, there is much to be excited about. We’re returning to the South Pacific, a region that has long captured my imagination with its vibrant cultures and mythic beauty. We’re also expanding opportunities to explore Iceland and Greenland, and offering more departures in Svalbard in both spring and summer—two seasons, two different expressions of the same wild place. Each voyage continues the idea my father set in motion in 1966: that exploration, when done with purpose, can awaken something profound in us all.
As we celebrate this milestone together, I want to thank you for your curiosity, your passion and your enduring trust in our mission. You are part of this legacy, and part of what makes the next chapter possible.
Here’s to 60 years of exploration—and to all the adventures still to come.
With gratitude,
Sven Lindblad Founder, Lindblad Expeditions

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC EXPLORERS-IN-TRAINING
Our popular family program now carries a new name— National Geographic Explorers in-Training—and it continues to inspire children and teens in destinations around the globe, from the Galápagos to Baja California and Iceland, where itineraries now extend to Greenland. Guided by certified field educators, young travelers learn to explore like scientists and tell the story of their surroundings through experiences designed for independent discovery and shared family exploration.
A voyage with National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions stays with you long after you return home. The moments of wonder and connection linger, shaped by the people you meet, the places you explore, and the discoveries that unfold along the way. Here, our guests share the experiences that left a lasting mark.

“My wife has always dreamed of seeing whales in the wild, so last February I surprised her with a whale-watching expedition in Baja California—it turned out to be the best trip we’ve ever taken. The thrill was twofold: the whales themselves and the experts on board. Watching the whales spy-hop beside our Zodiac, clearly as curious about us as we were about them, was unforgettable. And the scientists and naturalists were fascinating—I hadn’t planned to attend the lectures, but we were the last to leave every night. The trip was exciting and engrossing— amazing in every way.”

THE LAURS, Worldwide

“Some of the perfect ‘10’ moments in my life have been on voyages with National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions. In the Galápagos, our kids swam with penguins, and a sea lion led them into the surf to play. In Costa Rica, I floated in warm tropical water with scarlet macaws flying overhead, thinking, ‘It doesn’t get any better than this.’ But then I stood among a million penguins in South Georgia, surrounded by the staggering beauty of snow-topped mountains. Each trip somehow tops the last.”

“On the first day, we boarded Zodiacs just as the sun was setting. Word spread that a large pod of dolphins had been spotted, and we took off, skimming across the open water. Dozens of dolphins began leaping in pairs beside us—a choreographed dance they all seemed to know by heart. The sunset, the dolphins, the joy on our kids’ faces—it felt like the Galápagos was welcoming us, offering a preview of the extraordinary adventure to come.

Beyond that unforgettable beginning, what made the voyage truly special were the people—the crew, naturalists and our fellow travelers, who widened our lens on the world. Our kids loved the National Geographic Explorers-in-Training program, where they weren’t just tagging along, but participating as young explorers in their own right. We came home with a deeper sense of connection—to one another and to the incredible people aboard who dedicate their lives to exploration, conservation and education.

“I might be a solo traveler, but I never feel alone on expeditions. The crew makes me feel safe, pampered and welcomed from the moment I step aboard, and before long the other guests feel like family too. I’ve met so many like-minded travelers—people who care deeply about the environment and exploration. Conversations often start with, ‘I think I know you from another trip!’ and soon we’re sharing stories over dinner or spotting wildlife together from a Zodiac. I’ve journeyed from the High Arctic to the South Pacific, and on every voyage, the sense of connection stands out most. Traveling solo with National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions doesn’t mean traveling alone—it means being part of a family that spans the world.”

Every day on expedition, remarkable moments unfold—guests come upon elusive wildlife, travel through wild and dramatic landscapes, or have unexpected encounters that can reshape how they see the world.

The Galápagos Islands truly come alive through the lens of our expedition team. Each photo tells a story of the unforgettable moments our guests experience here.

In celebration of #WorldPhotographyDay, we honor the incredible talent of our naturalists and certified photo instructors. Their work goes beyond capturing an image; it captures the spirit of these islands.

Moments like these are why we go to Alaska. Our recent expedition brought our guests face-to-face with the wild, from the majestic whale sightings to the thrilling feel of a Zodiac ride through icy waters.

Right now, our polar fleet is making way for the icy south, charting a course to Antarctica! But the adventures started further north last week, sailing along the historic shores of the Falkland Islands and through Patagonia.

Meet the fleet of ships that charted a course for expedition cruising, each built small and nimble so you can go deeper into your destination and quickly disembark to spend more time exploring. The vessels are as diverse as their destinations—designed to discover specific geographies and stocked with a curated collection of expedition tools to enhance your experience on shore and on board. While their offerings are varied, key features unite the ships: comfortable, well-appointed cabins; lively social spaces designed to foster a sense of community; and capacities that never exceed 154 guests.

Built to shine in icy polar seas, the four ships in the blue water fleet comfortably sail deep oceans across the globe. The purpose-built National Geographic Explorer is the definitive expedition ship, while the gracious National Geographic Orion has a rich tradition of navigating distant shores, from the Atlantic isles to Antarctica.
The new state-of-the-art sister ships National Geographic Endurance and National Geographic Resolution are charting a course for the future of the fleet, with top-tier ice classes and luxurious amenities, including infinity hot tubs and geodesic igloos for sleeping under the stars at sea.

National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions sails four expedition ships in the Galápagos year-round, each with a unique style to offer a full spectrum of travel options. Geared for in-depth discovery, National Geographic Endeavour II and the new National Geographic Gemini embody the style of travel refined during more than 55 years of exploration here.
National Geographic Islander II is an expedition vessel with the spirit and soul of a private yacht, featuring shared spaces that emphasize indoor-outdoor living. The catamaran National Geographic Delfina is the fleet’s most intimate ship in the Galápagos, accommodating 16 guests in eight spacious staterooms.

Clockwise: Observation deck with plunge pool aboard National Geographic Islander II; blue-footed boobies in front of National Geographic Endeavour II; first-class service from shipboard hotel team.

Certain destinations are best discovered aboard bespoke vessels that evoke the splendor of their historic ports of call. National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions handpicks ships that are uniquely suited to sail in these special places and fully charters them just for our travel groups.
Step aboard and enjoy all the benefits of traveling aboard our fleet, whether you wish to sail the Mediterranean aboard the elegant Sea Cloud II, come face to face with Alaska’s awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier aboard the Greg Mortimer or navigate through the heart of Scotland’s Highlands and islands on board the intimate and purpose-built Lord of the Glens

The U.S. fleet includes two pairs of sister ships: the purpose-built National Geographic Quest and National Geographic Venture and the intimately scaled National Geographic Sea Bird and National Geographic Sea Lion. Each nimble vessel was designed with a shallow draft to access remote corners of North and Central American coastlines, from secluded coves in Alaska to jungle rivers in Costa Rica. They also have the advantage of being U.S.-flagged, eliminating the need for domestic customs stops and allowing you more time to explore.
