In a significant step towards strengthening India’s LED display manufacturing ecosystem, LEDX Technology was introduced, reflecting the long-term vision to enhance quality control, streamline supply chains, and build a resilient ‘Make-in-India, for the World’ foundation. With a strong focus on innovation, process-driven manufacturing, and global

Founded over 25 years back, Xtreme Media was born from Sanket Rambhia’s inspiration from Times Square and vision to transform cityscapes in India through impactful LED displays—an ambition that has since positioned Xtreme Media as one of India’s largest active LED display brands.
As the business scaled across diverse applications and geographies, the need for backward integration became evident. While India has strong system integration and assembly capabilities, critical components and processes remained dependent on overseas supply chains. This brought forth the immediate need to reduce overdependence on one
geography.
LEDX Technology was therefore conceived as a strategic move towards vertical integration—giving Xtreme Media greater control over quality, consistency, delivery timelines, and supplier reliability, while also creating a manufacturing base in India that is future-ready and capable of serving both domestic and global markets.

LEDX was inaugurated in January 2026, with the factory going live in an accelerated timeline of just 11 months, a reflection of focused execution and strong operational planning. Equally challenging for the factory’s successful commissioning was the alignment of vendors with LEDX’s quality and performance benchmarks. Close collaboration during the setup phase ensured that supplier ecosystems were integrated seamlessly into the manufacturing vision of LEDX, enabling the facility to go live with consistency, reliability and longterm scalability.
Strategically located near the airport and port, the manufacturing facility offers significant logistical advantages, enabling faster movement of materials and improved supply chain efficiency.
The facility is overseen by a highly experienced engineering team, led by factory managers with over two decades of industry expertise, and supported by robust in-house R&D and proprietary intellectual property.

Built on the pillars of Innovation, Quality, and Sustainability, and driven by a vision to position India at the forefront of global active LED display innovation and manufacturing excellence, LEDX stands firmly for ‘Make-in-India, for the World’
While the LED display market in India has grown rapidly, quality variation, inconsistent component sourcing and dependence on fragmented overseas suppliers have remained persistent challenges for many around the world.
LEDX was established to address this very gap by creating a dependable manufacturing ecosystem focused on process control and standardised quality benchmarks. Beyond strengthening Xtreme Media’s own supply chain, the facility is designed to support the wider industry by offering reliable, India-based manufacturing capabilities that reduce uncertainty around quality, timelines, and after-sales continuity.
For OEMs and ODMs seeking reliable white-labeling or end-to-end manufacturing solutions, LEDX is the partner of choice.
Spread across 10,000 sq. meters, this built-to-suit factory has been engineered around machines and processes from day one, with optimised floor loading, utilities, and a strict one-directional material flow that ensures efficiency, cleanliness, and safety. The factory also has an annual production capacity of 50,000 sq. meters.
At the heart of LEDX is a fully integrated manufacturing ecosystem—from incoming material inspection to final ageing and dispatch. Its advanced SMT infrastructure, planned for five scalable lines, is equipped with top-of-the-line machines and operates within an ESD-safe, dust-minimising epoxy-floored, climate-controlled environment, maintained at approximately 24°C and 40–50% humidity for precision and process stability.
Fully automated post-SMT processes include conformal coating for indoor modules and automated sealing and waterproofing for outdoor products, followed by rigorous module- and cabinet-level ageing of up to 72 hours.
Quality is engineered into every step
through a multi-layered assurance framework supported by high-precision Japanese and Korean equipment. This includes Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Pick & Place machine, Reflow Soldering Oven, IP validation, Conformal Coating Machine, AB Glue Machine, Screwing Machine—all focused on delivering long-term field reliability, not shortterm performance.
LEDX will manufacture a comprehensive range of LED display solutions spanning fine pitch, indoor, outdoor and rental applications, designed to address diverse client requirements across sectors. The pixel pitches would range from 0.9mm to 20mm.
The fine pitch LED display portfolio will incorporate advanced technologies such as flip-chip COB, deep black technology for enhanced contrast, true-colour reproduction, and common cathode design for improved energy efficiency.
Indoor displays are engineered with
high brightness levels, nano-coating for moisture protection, slim and lightweight cabinets, and a common hub card architecture that enables easy pixel-pitch upgrades and long-term scalability.
The outdoor LED display range is designed for demanding environments and will feature ultra-high brightness levels of up to 10,000-nits, IP66 ingress protection to withstand harsh weather conditions, and robust construction for consistent performance in public and high-impact outdoor settings.
The factory features a comprehensive portfolio of rental LED displays, catering to both indoor and outdoor applications to suit varied rental needs.
At LEDX, customisation is driven through a structured co-innovation approach. From concept to creation, the team collaborates closely with clients to design and engineer custom LED display modules that are precisely tailored to their application needs. This begins with understanding the client’s vision, technical requirements, and environmental
considerations, followed by joint development with the in-house engineering and R&D teams.
By integrating design, engineering, and manufacturing under one roof, LEDX enables faster prototyping, seamless iteration, and scalable production. This collaborative model ensures that every solution is not just customised, but purposebuilt—delivering optimal performance, reliability and long-term value aligned with the client’s objectives.
For OEMs and ODMs seeking reliable white-labeling or end-to-end manufacturing solutions, LEDX is the partner of choice.
LEDX Technology stands as a decisive response to the growing need for quality consistency, supply-chain reliability, and advanced manufacturing capabilities within the LED display industry. With its strong operational framework and global outlook, LEDX not only strengthens the company’s supply chain but also contributes meaningfully to positioning India as a credible hub for active LED display manufacturing excellence.

In complex construction and fit-out projects, schedule pressure is almost unavoidable. When timelines begin to slip, audiovisual systems are often the first discipline expected to “adjust.” Civil work runs late, interiors stretch longer than planned, and AV is asked to recover lost time.
On paper, the logic seems reasonable. In practice, this is where many AV projects quietly begin to unravel.
The core issue lies in how AV is perceived. It is often treated as a standalone activity—something that can be accelerated at the end of a project with more manpower or longer working hours. In reality, AV is a highly interdependent system. Its execution depends on several upstream elements being completed correctly and on time. When those elements are delayed, AV timelines do not compress; they fracture.
By the time AV equipment is scheduled to arrive on site, several prerequisites must already be in place. Room layouts need to be finalised, power loads and dedicated circuits confirmed, ceilings stabilised, walls closed with appropriate backing, and network infrastructure fully live. Control locations and rack spaces must be accessible and locked. Without these conditions, installation simply cannot begin—regardless of urgency.
“Audiovisual systems don’t fail during installation. They fail when planning decisions are postponed.”
This reality places AV at the end of the project dependency chain. Far from being the easiest scope to fast-track, it is often the most constrained.
Procurement introduces another layer of complexity that is frequently underestimated. Professional AV equipment does not follow con-
This column marks the beginning of a thought-leadership series by Qubix Technologies, in AV-ICN Expo Magazine
Through this series, Qubix will aim to unpack real-world challenges that shape audiovisual projects. It will examine the factors, dependencies, and on-ground scenarios that often determine whether an AV system succeeds or struggles. In this first article, Qubix focuses on a recurring and often misunderstood issue, “why AV projects miss timelines”. Rather than viewing delays as last-minute execution failures, this column explores how early planning gaps, dependency misalignment, and procurement realities quietly set projects off track long before installation begins.

with standard lead times typically ranging from eight to twelve weeks. Custom configurations can extend these timelines further.

The Experience Center was built around a 162” Active LED Display with 1.2mm pixel pitch, supported by a multi-window processor capable of displaying up to four sources simultaneously. The system included four wireless presentation systems, reinforcement displays, enterprise-grade Teams and Zoom readiness, and a professional auto-tracking camera. A key feature

was two-way integration between the Experience Center and the adjacent ADL, enabling seamless content sharing across both spaces.
The solution was delivered using globally trusted enterprise technologies – LG for the Active LED display, Crestron for wireless presentation, Teams integration and control, and the HARMAN ecosystem for audio infrastructure.
Key components:
• Crestron AM3-111-I KIT
• Crestron CP4
• Crestron UC-C100-T
• Audio-Technica ATDM DSP
• Lumens VC-TR40 auto-tracking camera
• DIN-4DIMFLV4 dimmer module
• DIN-8SW8-I relay control for motorised blinds
• Reinforcement displays
• Ceiling subwoofers
• Wireless microphones
Post handover, the client shared positive feedback via email, highlighting the Experience Centre’s usability across departments, integration quality, and SISPL’s ability to deliver a global-standard solution within the approved commercial and timeline framework.
This project stands out as one of the earliest high-value Experience Centre deployments of its kind in India for such a specialised global consulting organisation. The final outcome delivered a futureready platform supporting multi-content matrix display, seamless wired and wireless collaboration, enterprise-grade video conferencing, two-way ADL integration, and audio performance suited for both speech and music.
Through detailed site audits, crossfunctional requirement reviews, and a globally aligned AV design, SISPL delivered a premium Experience Centre that meets global standards, supports multiple use cases seamlessly, and was executed successfully within site compliance, budget, and timeline requirements.

“Everything Peter’s done has meant that I’m starting from a place where I don’t have to fix anything, because nothing’s broken,” explained Dan. “The power of Hewshott means I can just continue amplifying what we already do.”
The transition is not a change in direc-

tion, but a ‘passing of the baton’ where Dan will oversee a continuation of a shared philosophy and culture. Peter’s decision to strategically build Hewshott to thrive outside his presence has made the transition seamless – essentially ‘business as usual.’
“I’ve never wanted the company to be wholly dependent on me,” explained Peter. “Dan has very strong people skills and
clarity of thought, making him a natural to take the business from where it is now to the next level.”
“That early decision to remain true to our independence has now put us in a strong position,” Peter added. “It was not an easy path, but it always felt right.”
Hewshott’s value has always been rooted in uncovering what clients truly need and guiding them to the right solution. Now as holistic experiences occupy centre stage, a fully integrated approach to space and experience is key.
“Where we are today, the company is very strong,” expressed Peter. “We couldn’t have done it without our clients, nor could we do this without our staff, both in equal measures, past and present. Every single one of them is very special to me, and I know that means as much to Dan too.”
Hewshott’s value has always been rooted in uncovering what clients truly need and guiding them to the right solution. Now as holistic experiences occupy centre stage, a fully integrated approach to space and experience is key.

These are not inefficiencies or avoidable delays. They are normal realities of industrial supply chains. Shipping, customs clearance, and regional distribution are integral parts of the process—not variables that can be eliminated under deadline pressure.
“You can’t solve a global manufacturing timeline with local urgency.”
Problems arise when these realities are acknowledged too late. Specifications are often frozen before equipment availability is validated, leaving little flexibility when procurement timelines fail to align with site readiness. Teams are then forced into last-minute compromises, substituting hardware, reducing system scope, or compressing installation and commissioning windows. While these decisions may
protect handover dates, they introduce long-term risks to performance, reliability, and user experience.
Timeline misalignment is further compounded by comparisons between enterprise AV and consumer technology. Ordering a corporate meeting room display is fundamentally different from purchasing a television for home use. Enterprise AV follows industrial procurement models, not retail logistics, and expecting otherwise creates unrealistic expectations from the outset.
Projects that consistently deliver AV systems on time take a different approach. They plan AV early and treat it as a system rather than a task.
Equipment availability is checked during the design phase, long-lead components are approved upfront, and flexibility is
built into non-critical elements to absorb supply constraints. Most importantly, AV milestones are integrated into the master project plan instead of being used as a buffer for delays elsewhere.
“When AV is planned alongside architecture and IT, it stops being a risk and starts becoming predictable.”
Strong AV outcomes are rarely achieved by moving faster at the end of a project. They are the result of making better decisions at the beginning.
In the next article, we’ll explore why many AV failures are actually coordination failures—and how unclear ownership between teams creates problems long before AV installation begins.

In this column, Bhavani Raj, Marketing Director, Shenzhen AV Master Technology Co., Ltd, directly brings his viewpoint on Cat6 versus Fiber cables, drawing the readers’ attention towards choosing the right audio-video solution, significant in real time projects.
Technology is radically changing from Cat6 to Fiber, although not a new phenomenon, there are certain constraints and positive developments on both sides. However, I have seen many are in a state of flux nowadays, with the advent of new protocols in technology and in my opinion, I feel both the solutions are equally significant in real time projects. Though many engineers are gradually switching from copper to light signals for several benefits like distance, and bandwidth, Cat6 technology is still ruling the market since this is the costeffective solution in contrast to fiber. In addition, Cat6 solution is more flexible and widely available to the oftenspecific requirements like cascading or looping through receivers. Despite this, it is not limited to 100 meters range. Unlike traditional methods, it can be transmitted over 300-400 range by using the unmanaged switch. Additionally, this technological solution is transformed to a POC feature, which
we haven’t seen in the fiber yet. To name a few, system integrators are really admired for this hassle-free feature, and other features like 2K or 4K, plus with HDCP; HDR features are also commonly available in this technology, which I preferred not to discuss in this feature.
HDMI and Cat6 have a rare matrix feature, which is actually under-rated in the industry. I am not sure why this hasn’t been brought up or massively promoted by any manufacturer or supplier in the market while this feature is first-rate in this segment.
Inspite of these benefits, there are also certain negative outcomes that can result from bulky and hefty cabling, definitely not for the bigger range, and it can be flawed in case of reverse power or electrification issues.
Numerous key factors contribute to fiber solutions. Perhaps, the most basic reasons are bandwidth and the range, especially in LED screen industry or projection mapping based companies that often work on 4K@120Hz or 8K@60Hz, which is one of

the emerging needs based on the content. Hence, this is possible through the fiber media extenders to avoid the complex setup, which may lead to detrimental results as per the reported case studies.
Secondly, userscan have the access to downgrade or customise display resolutions through Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) switch. In addition, they can also extract the audio with additional ports available, which is more stable and reliable in comparison with Cat6 and a more convincing factor from switch to the fiber. Likewise, other features that are absolutely vital, include the bandwidth speed 18 GBPS, which is more regular and it can be expanded up to 40 GBPS and more in the coming time. Indeed, unlike Cat6, when it comes to range limitation, these fiber signals can be transmitted over a bigger range through single mode and multimode without any frame loss or delay.
Aside from these benefits, fiber setup is expensive and the features like Cascading, POC, POE, and Matrixare barely available in this technology.
In conclusion, indeed, as our current environment is personalised, we tend to opt for only the technology that appeals to us. While both the solutions are potentially valuable, solution needs to be tailored according to the project, there should be an ease of accessing the technological information, and capability of extenders is based on the workings and exploration.
At the AV-ICN Conference and Seminar 2025, a thoughtfully curated conference session brought together professionals from AV industry to examine a question that has been steadily reshaping the industry: How are broadcast and AV converging, and what does this mean for enterprises, education, healthcare, and beyond?
Speakers including Kuldip Kamat, Managing Director, Allwave-AV Systems; Madhusudhanan S, Director Sales, Camixel Technologies; Nikhil Shenoy, Founder & Principal Consultant, Digital Futurist; Maulik Sanghvi, Director Sales, Premier Pro Group along with moderator - Rohan

An Excerpt from the Session “Convergence of Broadcast and AV: Enhancing Communication & Collaboration”
Moderated by Rohan Tadke, the session turned to a pivotal discussion on the evolving intersection of two powerful industries – Broadcast and AV. Broadcast has become an integral part

of AV Solutions. Whether we talk about town hall sessions, lecture capturing, internal meetings, live streaming of events which were majorly a part of the broadcast industry are now the need of the hour for audio-visual solutions.
Opening the discussion, Tadke reflected on how, five or six years ago, broadcast technology was largely associated with television channels, green-screen studios, and high-end production environments. The idea that these tools would one day become commonplace in professional AV installations seemed unlikely.
Responding to this, Kuldip Kamat shared how enterprise needs began evolving as organisations became more globally distributed. “We’re no longer looking at standardised meeting rooms alone,” he noted. “As AV moved closer to IT, and teams became globally spread out, customers started asking for more specialised, professional-grade solutions within the enterprise.”
Town halls, leadership addresses, and training sessions needed to reach employees across geographies with the same impact as a broadcast production. Platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet accelerated this shift, making broadcast-quality production not just desirable, but expected.
Maulik Sanghvi highlighted how broadcast, audio, and AV have become inseparable in today’s content-driven world. He stated, “Broadcast today is something you want on your phone, across news channels, OTT platforms, or YouTube, where audio and video quality must be absolutely crisp”. According to him, the integration of audio and video has become “100% interdependent,” driven by the audience’s rising expectations.
This expectation has been shaped heavily by social media. Platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn have raised the bar for production quality. Malik observed, “What used to happen in a multi-core studio is now happening in someone’s living room, whether it’s gaming, podcasting, or talk shows.”
The democratisation of content creation has scaled broadcast and AV into space previously unimaginable.
Bringing a long-term broadcast perspective, Madhusudhanan S traced the industry’s journey from analog to digital, from tapes and linear workflows to nonlinear editing and IP-based systems. “Broadcast has always been about content creation,” he explained, adding that its evolution enabled the film industry’s post-production workflows and later influenced enterprise AV.
He recalled how timecode synchronisation, SDI signals, and complex broadcast ecosystems once made the field highly specialised. The turning point, according to him, came with nonlinear editing and IT convergence nearly 25 years ago, laying the foundation for today’s AV-broadcast overlap.
Nikhil Shenoy offered a consultant’s lens on how demand for broadcast capabilities has surged in corporate and educational environments, particularly over the last three to four years. He said, “Earlier, town halls were local events with a microphone and a presentation.” Post-pandemic organisations realised the importance of staying culturally connected across global teams.
He explained how large Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India, often hiring thousands of employees, use broadcast setups to connect leadership with teams across continents, emphasising, “Broadcast is where you connect the local to the global.”
These needs have led to the rise of inhouse studios, media rooms, and content hubs. Marketing and HR teams now drive many of these requirements, using studios for leadership communication, employee engagement, podcasts, onboarding content, and IPO storytelling.
The discussion also touched on generational shifts. Shenoy noted how Gen Z employees are comfortable on-camera and eager to share workplace experiences. He commented, “Offices are now designed with ‘Instagrammable spaces’ like cafeterias, yoga rooms, or collaboration corners that are meant to be streamed, photographed, and shared.”
This cultural change has made broad-
cast-ready environments an intrinsic part of modern workplace design rather than an add-on.
A critical discussion centered on whether organisations should own studios or rely on rental models. Madhusudhanan S observed that while enterprises earlier depended heavily on rental companies, greater accessibility to professional broadcast tools has changed the equation. He explained, “The advantage of having an in-house studio is scalability and flexibility. Over time, ownership lowers costs and allows tighter integration with internal communication systems.”
Sanghvi echoed this sentiment, noting, “Even smaller production houses and OTT platforms are investing directly in audio, video, and broadcast equipment because content is now central to growth.”
However, the panel agreed that the decision depends on usage. Organisations with frequent content needs benefit from ownership, while occasional users may still prefer rental or hybrid models.
Addressing concerns about manpower, Kamat offered a nuanced perspective. He highlighted, “It’s not about the lack of talent, it’s about the operating model. Training, deployment, and collaboration between manufacturers, integrators, and partners matter more than raw headcount.”
Shenoy further added, “Many organisations build studios without clear use cases. It’s not about knowing how to use the equipment, it’s about knowing what content you want to create.” This gap presents an opportunity for integrators to offer content and operational services alongside technology.
A key technical theme at the session was the shift towards AV-over-IP. Madhusudhanan S explained how broadcast manufacturers began adapting to enterprise needs post-pandemic, moving from baseband SDI toward SMPTE 2110 and IP-based workflows. Interestingly, the panel noted that professional AV adopted IP faster than traditional broadcast.
Sanghvi highlighted education as a strong driver of this change, stating,
“Universities across borders are collaborating, and AV-over-IP and broadcast work hand-in-hand.”
Shenoy described how broadcast plays a vital role in 4K operating theatres within teaching hospitals in the healthcare segment. He elaborates, “There cannot be a drop in quality, it’s a matter of life and death. Live surgical broadcasts enable medical students to learn with precision, while internal communication and digital signage enhance patient engagement.”
Education, too, is rapidly embracing broadcast. Referring to the National Education Policy 2020, Sanghvi noted, “Hybrid learning is now essential from IITs and IIMs to early childhood education. If anything, Covid times have taught us one lesson that life will not stop.” Studios ensure continuity, access, and scale.
In closing statements, panelists agreed that the industry has moved decisively from selling products to delivering experiences. Sanghvi summarised it succinctly,

Designed to simplify high-end conference room automation, CAMTRACK, launched by INOGENI, delivers professional video switching without the need for complex, custom programming.
In today’s hybrid world, poor camera framing—where people appear too small on the screen or transitions are distracting—causes remote participants to lose trust and emotional connection with meeting room attendees. The fundamental need is to see the person speaking clearly, with smooth, natural transitions that mimic a professional director’s cut, not a slow, hunting security camera. CAMTRACK solves this by ensuring every meeting participant in the room is visible and engaged.
The CAMTRACK PRO version offers exceptional capacity, handling up to 12 PTZ cameras and 8 SHURE microphones simultaneously, while the CAMTRACK standard
version handles up to 8 PTZ cameras and 4 SHURE microphones.
CAMTRACK accommodates a wide range of needs – from medium corporate meeting rooms and classrooms to large boardrooms, lecture halls, and complex broadcast delegate environments (supporting up to 12 PTZ cameras).
CAMTRACK acts as the intelligent core, seamlessly integrating with best-in-class SHURE audio systems to manage camera presets and tracking. It eliminates the complexity and lengthy labour hours associated with traditional programmable control platforms, providing a fast, repeatable deployment process for integrators.
CAMTRACK’s top differentiator is its unparalleled compatibility, driving a highperformance multi-camera ecosystem built for the modern UC environment:
Broadest camera support:
CAMTRACK works with the largest variety of PTZ camera manufacturers in the market, including Canon, AVer, Sony, and Panasonic. It supports all major connec-

meeting rooms to large auditoriums
tivity types including USB, HDMI, and IP/ NDI cameras, giving integrators maximum flexibility when choosing hardware.
Optimal integration:
INOGENI will jointly showcase live demonstrations of the CAMTRACK switcher and the Canon CR-N100 camera at ISE 2026. The following compatible Canon PTZ models have been fully tested and optimised for CAMTRACK - CR-N100 / CR-N300 / CR-N350 / CR-N400 / CR-N500 / CR-N700.
Complete Shure integration:
CAMTRACK harnesses AI-inferred spatial audio data from the Shure Microflex Ecosystem MXA series, P300, IntelliMix to instantly locate the speaker and guarantee zero-lag, clean transitions.
Simplified output:
The system integrates natively with INOGENI switchers CAM230/300 and IP2USB (converter/switcher), routing the appropriate video feed into a single, UVCcompliant USB 3.0 stream for applications, such as Teams and Zoom.
This streamlined approach provides a clear financial advantage over other competitive AV automation leaders - Labor savings and Cost efficiency.
CAMTRACK is tested and compatible by design with major UC systems and camera manufacturers, such as Crestron, Logitech, Lenovo, Poly, MAXHUB, Jabra, Teams, Zoom, and others.
