Palmetto Bluff finished 2022 strong, with a total of 205 community-wide sales for $315 million. Our sales team remained the community leader as they assisted 138 buyers in purchasing their properties in Palmetto Bluff, whereas the next closest firm brought 20 buyers. As we reflect on this past year, we are honored to have helped the many visitors who stopped by our sales office in Wilson Village to learn more about this community and how we’ve created a place that people want to embrace and share with their families and friends. This dedication to Palmetto Bluff is reflected in our results, as one out of every three property tours with potential buyers resulted in a sale in 2022. New construction continues at a steady pace as 284 homes are currently under construction and 166 in the Design Review Board approval for a total of 450 homes representing $900 million in residential construction. In addition, Palmetto Bluff continues to see an increasing demand for new construction as buyers are taking a thoughtful approach to the style and customizations of their new homes, with the mindset that one day they’ll transition from part-time residents to full-time property owners. The most recent property owner survey showed that 50% of our residents are full time. If you’re considering listing your property, we’re ready to help. Our Palmetto Bluff Real Estate Company team provided our sellers with an average of 2% higher returns for their resale homes and 3% higher returns for resale homesite listings than our competitors.
