One significantly injured in garage fire in Palm Coast’s F Section One person was significantly injured after a fire occurred at a home in Palm Coast’s F Section on Feb. 29. According to the page, the Paulsen family, including six children, have lost “nearly all of their belongings in shambles or covered in smoke soot. Luke, the father, discovered the fire in the garage and immediately attempted to put it out, but was met with an explosion leaving him with severe burns down his face and arms. The fire then spread throughout the house. The kids, age 2, 5, 7, 8, 11 and 15 are currently without a home, clothes, bedding, toys, sports equipment and much more.” A Palm Coast Fire Department Facebook post said the cause of the fire was determined to be accidental. The PCFD and Flagler County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and were able to contain and extinguish the flames.
