Janice and her daughter Evie, of Daytona Beach, were selected as Ormond Memorial Art Museum’s featured family from the museum’s Feb. 1 Free Family Art Night event. The mother-daughter duo love coming to the museum’s Family Art Night program, lend by instructor Linda King, as often as they can, according to a statement from the museum. Evie is a fifth grader at the Chase Academy, a school for students with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders in South Daytona. “Evie likes people to know that she can do anything,” the museum statement reads. “She is a cheerleader, singer, baseball player, actor and now with Mrs King’s help, an artist. Evie’s mom Janice enjoys just watching Evie shine!”
