Avelo to restore service to Delaware’s Wilmington Airport Avelo Airlines is renewing its nonstop service between Daytona Beach International Airport and Wilmington Airport in New Castle County, Delaware, the airline announced Tuesday. Beginning Nov. 7, the airline will operate the route on Thursdays and Sundays. “This is more great news for our community and we are thrilled Avelo is resuming the Philadelphia/Wilmington flights,” DAB Airport Director Karen Feaster said. “The Philadelphia region is one of our top 10 metropolitan markets for passengers flying in and out, and this flight was very popular with travelers.”
