Ormond resident lands spot as Ron Jon model Ormond Beach local Marin Houck is now modeling for Ron Jon. Houck, who was Miss Seabreeze 2022-2023, began surfing at 5 years old, she said in a statement to the Observer. Growing up, she admired the Ron Jon team riders and aspired to join their ranks. “While my path didn’t lead me to become one of Ron Jon’s team riders, something equally thrilling happened when I was 17: I ventured into modeling and landed a casting call for Ron Jon,” Houck said. “It was a moment filled with excitement and hope, and the experience that followed was nothing short of incredible. ... Seeing myself in stores and on billboards today is a true realization of a childhood dream.”
