CRIME REPORT Former Security First accountant arrested in embezzlement case Ormond Beach Police arrested a 30-year-old Daytona Beach woman in a $1.4 million embezzlement case involving local insurance company Security First on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Samantha Link, a former accountant for the company, is facing charges of grand theft over $100,000 and organized scheme to defraud over $50,000. “The teamwork and professionalism shown by our investigators and the prosecutors at the State Attorney’s Office are a true testament that offenders will be brought to justice,” Ormond Beach Police Chief Jesse Godfrey said.
