Mosley as its eighth president. As part of the inauguration festivities, Mosley led more than 2,000 students, faculty, staff and alumni in a university-wide Day of Service. On April 13, volunteers served 40 local nonprofits, contributing 8,080 hours. The investiture also generated more than $1.1 million for student scholarships. “Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune built this institution on faith, purpose and the belief that education can change lives and transform communities,” said Joyours “Pete” Gamble, Chairman of B-CU’s Board of Trustees. “Today, we honor that extraordinary legacy while embracing an exciting future under Dr. Albert Mosley’s leadership.”
