"Rosette and Its Transformation in Interior Décor"
This study examines the evolution of the rosette as a central ceiling decoration through two significant architectural styles—Classicism and Historicism—primarily focusing on selected objects. The research explores changes in material usage and shifting design influences over time.
By analyzing this single decorative element, the study highlights preserved and restored cultural heritage in Estonia. The painted decorations on the described objects have been restored by students and lecturers from Pallas University of Applied Sciences.
